If video will be quality you will get exposure just by linking to it by byteball users on slack and everywhere.
Please also consider that if you get prize before next airdrop you will get extra 10% on top of the prize might get.

I think rules are clear enough
Ranking is based on points is to be as objective as possible and reduce human factor of taste (that judges could have). This way whole audience can vote and if existing platform provides such info then why not to use it.
If your video will be good you will gain views anyway sooner or later. If you wont get the prize and video will be good enough I'm almost sure that it will be retweeted and mentioned by 'Byteballers'
