Hi all

On http://www.bytestamp.net now you can create an Asset and transfer its ownership.

1) upload a file as for a normal timestamp. Of course, you can choose a previously timestamped file.

2) now you have a button Take First Ownership. Click it to make an asset from the file

3) input the address that will be the owner of the asset. It can be both a Datacoin or a Bitcoin address. Yes, we can transfer assets between datacoin and bitcoin addresses, too

4) than you have to sign a message with your datacoin/bitcoin client and submit the signature. This proves you own that address

5) now the asset belongs to you. Only you can transfer its ownership by signing a message with the private key corresponding to the DTC/BTC address that owns the asset.

At the top menu of ByteStamp site now there is the Asset link: http://www.bytestamp.net/assets/index.

Here you can see the latest asset transations.

When you transfer an asset a particular asset transaction is uploaded on Datacoin blockchain, using its transaction data field.

So all assets transfers are undeniable.

From the latest assets transations table you can click the transaction link (eg: http://www.bytestamp.net/blocks/qtx/en/55453904d5ba44e66b923ac423e16a8f5c3648cd894841ce73990361fd8e1239).

Here you can see the transaction on the Datacoin Block Explorer, and it says that this transaction contains an asset.

Click to have details and you can see the message stored on the Datacoin blockchain.

At the bottom of the page there is a technical explanation of how it works.
