Congratulations for your tool. I am happy you built something like this. Although I am not a campaign manager so I cannot benefit from this project. Being able to make it an open source is a Yes from me.
I see that people are complaining about checking post quality. Let us accept this first in the future there maybe a way to check the post quality by either checking the length of post (post.lenght()), or by checking the amount of merits received by the post or how many times the post was quoted at the course of discussion.

Also, is it possible to tinker the tool to provide the number of posts made per day?
This can help CMs get accounts that make posts in only 3–2 days per round.

Yes, it could support such a feature. However, there would need to be actual interest in the project for me to invest much more time.

I do have some plans of improving it overall to be able to support more features.

Since you're offering to manage bounty you can explore and develop it in your campaign this is actually a good tool to add when you are offering developers to manage their marketing.

This is the plan.

Now you can implement that plan since you have one campaign that you are going to manage hopefully it's a long campaign for you so you can format and update your tool or utility, Let's see how effective your utility is and how will ease up the job of bounty managers.

Good luck with your campaign and your tool/utility and keep us updated.

Otherwise, how to automatically check the quality of posts, especially at a time when the use of AI is quite popular?

At least to check whether a post was written with AI, it can be done by using AI checker service which offer API. Offline/local version might be exist, but i have no idea how good is it (if it's exist) or whether it need decent computer.

In that case, you have plan to make graphical version of your library, right? Only few people would use terminal for this kind of task.

Terminal suits my needs for which this tool was originally developed. Before considering a GUI, there would need to be some demand and I also have to prioritize adding a few more features and making the program use a proper database for robustness.

PS. Integrating AI API would be a decent idea but then might need to use a paid service. Once again, I may consider options if there's a demand but I think this would require someone is prepared to pay me for the service.

I will use it to manage a campaign soon but other testers are encouraged. As I mentioned, it's still new software and has not been tested in any real situation yet.
If it's not a secret, what campaign are you planning to start?
Don't forget to check quality of the posts, because many members can write enough number of posts but that doesn't mean this pots are good enough for campaign terms.
I guess that you could add some AI helper to check quality but I really wouldn't trust machine to do anything more than spell and plagiarism checking.

Speaking about AI, did anyone see how AI is giving everyone free valid keys for wiNd0ws11 activation?  Cheesy

We do not have this back from 2017 to 2019 when the bounty campaign was at its highest but you can never tell if suddenly there's a surge of bounty campaigns, I'm sure in the future there will be a big surge of new campaigns and it's good if we have something in place where bounty managers can use for all their campaigns.

We now have talkimg.com made for the community we need more for users and bounty managers.

Good for campaigns that need a minimum post count per week in order for one to get paid. This would give the campaign manager ahead start on knowing who might not get paid on a given round before he can go ahead to check the post quality of the other accounts that have posts above the minimum.

Your wishes have been heard.

Now post count is calculated based on how many posts were actually made.

In the case below, round start time was manually specified to be one week before current time which is why it shows start post count, activity and merit as unknown. This is intended behavior.

Still, the bounty managers have to check the quality of the post and sections the participants are posting because there are sections where the signature is disabled and there are campaigns where the manager instructs their participants to post more on specific sections.

Still, a very good tool for big participants hope to see this being used by managers, bounty management is not an easy task

Of course. For now that is the case.

Building a good campaign management tool has become a serious challenge.

But your concerns are correct and at this time, it is required to manually check deleted posts and adjust them. But the idea is that the CSV file that is generated from the program can be easily modified.

This sounds like complicating the whole thing because, in addition to using the tool, managers have to check manually. I believe that you should count posts in a certain period, and not just by the number of posts. That way you would skip worrying about deleted posts from the past.

Otherwise, how to automatically check the quality of posts, especially at a time when the use of AI is quite popular?

I agree. I just haven't had time to perfect everything yet and not every functionality I've got planned is there yet.

But criticism is welcome and the reason this thread is here.

A more detailed description of the program can be found at its Github repository.
Very nice that you made everything open source, but did any manager tested how Campaign Manager Utility in real life situation?
I am not sure how it will deal with deleted posts, or with posts that are not counted because they are in boards like off-topic, etc.

There is functionality deep down in the source code to get the actual posts that were made after starting point of round. However, I have not had time to implement that yet.

Campaign Manager Utility

GitHub: https://github.com/theboxxob/bct-campaign-manager

Donations: bc1p6yuzqkl5csrjgwqtzlws38css8ruasjdz6pt37drg40778e9rp0qjyku8h

The program is still in its very early stages and may contain bugs.

I am proud to announce a software to help campaign managers here on Bitcointalk to do their job more efficiently.

It is completely open-source and free of charge. However, donations are always welcome.

The Python utility is aimed at campaign managers who manage any type of campaign on Bitcointalk that relies on their participants to make posts on the forum. It can support multiple campaigns at once. Each campaign contains information about participants that can be added and removed. New campaign rounds can be started by a simple command which will take the participants from the campaign and fetch their current post count, activity and merit. When campaign round has ended, the utility will automatically fetch the information again and calculate difference from the start

Additionally, managers can export round data to CSV.

I would very much like if people gave it a go to test and let me know about any potential improvements or issues. Additional features will certainly be needed and I will implement them to the best of my ability but it will also depend on whether or not the project has users.

A more detailed description of the program can be found at its Github repository.
