That's for BTC to euro though, right?

yes.  Sorry to hijack your thread Gareth.  We can accept bitcoin and put a EURO deposit into bank accounts in those 5 countries.  Everything in between is all hands-free from the merchant-side.

It's cool, feel free to hijack the thread whenever you want..your amongst friends here  Grin

That sounds exciting!
Please integrate this payment option for Euro as well.
As soon as this function works we can start to convince the shopkeepers to start accepting bitcoins.

Markus!

We have had this working since September of last year with BitPay Mobile Checkout.

https://bit-pay.com/aboutMobile.html

Merchants can set their prices in 30+ currencies to request a payment from any mobile device they have.  We can pay direct deposits in Euros each day to bank accounts in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.

very nice.  Every bitcoin wallet should integrate this as a loading mechanism.

You have automated Trustcash to the point where its much more usable than their native service.  nice job!

This is really cool. BitcoinSpinner already has a "Buy Coins" option that allows you to buy BTC using this feature. However, this is just for you to buy coins for yourself.
Gareth's post is really an important reminder that this feature can also be used for other people to send you coins by just using cash.
I imagine this addition to BitcoinSpinner:
1) User clicks the new "Receive Coins" on the BS main page
2) App displays "Does the sender have Bitcoin or cash?" and two buttons "Bitcoin" "Cash"
3a) Sender has Bitcoin: User enters the amount in BTC and the standard bitcoin QR-code including the amount is displayed. The sender scans this QR code using his device and pays using one of the many wallets out there.
3b) Sender has cash: User enters amount in USD and a QR-code for a BitInstant URL is displayed. The sender scans this QR code using his favorite device and goes to the nearest location to deposit cash.
4) You get Bitcoin

Got to get that in place next update!

I'm only getting started!

Actually, we should talk about more collaboration here - this stuff is starting to get more into your territory at bit-pay.

As an example of how this can be easily used for donations, here's a QR code that anyone with a smartphone can scan to send me $20:

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, ever wished you could stick a donation link on your email or forum signature and receive bitcoins from people who know absolutely nothing about bitcoins?

Now you can, the below link will take the user straight to our partners at TrustCash to get a deposit slip, then you will receive the resulting bitcoins and will be able to track order events as they occur by having them posted as JSON-formatted data to any URL of your choice:

https://www.bitinstant.com/cashtobtc?addr=14tu6Uvj6LAaK1cngz8BpRtzjCy6cm9n9g&amount=20¬ify_email=gareth@bitinstant.com¬ify_url=http://www.mysite.com/bi_notify

To be clear, here's the parameters:
addr             = your bitcoin address
amount         = the amount of USD you want to be paid (note that it must be a minimal of $20 and a max of $1000) - remember also that fees have to be subtracted from this figure
notify_email  =  your email address where you will be notified once the order completes
notify_url      = an arbitrary URL to which order events will be POSTed as JSON data - note that events will only be sent once, so if your website times out you will need to manually confirm (this is being worked on)

Coming soon:
Generate a QR code, have users scan it on their smartphone and be given a map to the nearest payment location
ZipZap support (for 7-11, walmart, CVS etc)

By using the notify_url feature this can easily form the basis of a shopping cart feature and without any need to setup an account anywhere - just send your users to the link and wait for bitcoins to arrive
