We are now rebuilding the source, updated for the latest versions of the various consumed components, we will also work with the community partners who were kind enough to provide block explorer capability, and ensure they are in receipt of the rebuilt source in order to get the explorer back up and running.

Dagx exchange is dead?? They were under attack last Dec and up until now, they haven't been back online. CMCN needs a better known exchanges so users of this app have motivation to continue using this platform. Is there any advice from Dagx to CMCN team regarding the opening of their exchange?

Update on activities, because we've been quieter of late.
1. App dev continues, more ASAP but for now there are no major blockers. We are about to renew our Apple membership for App Store releases, so will confirm when that is done.
2. Marketing efforts continue slowly but surely. This is a bootstrapping exercise given the current markets and state of crypto but we will continue. Currently working on a CommuterCoin YouTube vid (produced by the team) so more on that also in due course.
3. Plans are still in place for publication of CommuterCoin's name in press articles and we will confirm on those ASAP. Lots of stuff in the pipeline, despite the recent absence of comms.

2. App development - Progressing well. We are reviewing online map options for geolocation capabilities and still aiming to release screenprints to demonstrate progress.
3. Source - New nodes to shortly be confirmed, along with updated source. Watch out for notifications on this as you'll be required to switch to the updated wallet to ensure correct support.
4. Marketing - Continues, but not as fast as we'd like. Aim is to convert marketing funds to boost exposore. YouTube campaign has stalled due to unrealistic cost expectations from channel owners (ICO Syndrome again). Other avenues being researched. More on this ASAP.

Unfortunately the old source is still evident here as the logo and block height from COMC are showing under the scrypt algo from the main page, so the daemon needs to be blown away and rebuilt from the updated source. No, not a swap. For COMC (note, not SOCC) we will be providing a pro rata number of coins to holders who have already provided (we’re not accepting any new submissions) screenshots of balances. This is because I am aware of CMCN would otherwise leave these investors out in the cold and I don’t want them to be screwed over.
SOCC is a little different. I’d stepped back from that one and then it went pear shaped. For SOCC it is best endeavours on our part because we will do something to assist but I cannot confirm details at this point. I do want to do something though because SOCC, after all, was originally my coin and my first crypto.
With regards to when CMCNs will be provided to COMC holders we’ve already informed them on the timelines. To manage inflation we will provide coins once a listing is enabled and we will manage that faucet because again, I don’t want rampant inflation.

Did you respond to the requests and the releases I have put out? Are you part of Discord? If you'd seen the releases asking people for screenshots and/or seen the updates on Discord you'd have absolutely no ground for being so negative.

Technically we should have ended this freebie already, however we are keen to ensure COMC investors get a start on CMCN and I'm aware that a new chain slices off those who held COMC. So it's only fair. Note that compensation will be paid only once CMCN achieves a successful listing. We need to control inflation. Note also that a pro rata approach will be taken to compensation. You will not receive the exact same number of coins as you held for COMC. Technically we should have ended this freebie already, however we are keen to ensure COMC investors get a start on CMCN and I'm aware that a new chain slices off those who held COMC. So it's only fair. Note that compensation will be paid only once CMCN achieves a successful listing. We need to control inflation. Note also that a pro rata approach will be taken to compensation. You will not receive the exact same number of coins as you held for COMC. Will old COMC coins change to new CMCN? I can’t translate ANN.And what about the exchange VaultMeX, I have coins there, I can’t withdraw.
An as yet to be determined amount of CMCNs will be provided to COMC holders from the premine (hence why it's higher than our preferred 1% premine) and to that extent I'd already asked COMC holders to show their wallet balances via Discord. We would like to take care of COMC holders as much as we can and yes I'll be discussing with VaultMex but CMCN is a new blockchain because I want to give CommuterCoin every chance of success. I've already had discussions with another exchange which COMC was not listed on and I'm hoping that can move forward ASAP after we're live.

All locations will be posted Friday evening when we go live. But the website is up now www.commutercoin.co.uk and it too, will be updated with wallet locations etc when we go live.
We will provide Windows, Linux and also MacOS wallets this time around.
