Update on where we are with Dogecoin...
As you can see from the above posts we still have over 1.3 million dogecoin withdrawals to process. We are fully committed to completing all these withdrawals.
However, we have received a few enquiries about this (even though we asked people to wait) so we wanted to further explain the delays and what are plans are.
On the day that we announced the closure of CoinPot the value of dogecoin was less than $0.01 USD. When the faucets were active we used the price to dynamically determine the faucet payout amounts, ensuring that our advertising income would cover the payouts. At the time of writing this post the value of dogecoin has risen to roughly $0.30 USD - i.e. a 3000% increase. It should be obvious that the advertising income we received comes nowhere near covering this now!
We are desperate to pay everyone and move on, as I am sure you are desperate to receive your withdrawals that are in this backlog. But if we continue making the payments at this current price point we will run out of funds extremely quickly and only a tiny fraction of you would get your crypto. This will benefit no-one except the lucky few who got processed first.
Therefore, we will continue to monitor the situation over the next few weeks and process batches of withdrawals as and when it is financially possible. We WILL get to your withdrawal, hopefully sooner rather than later. We will continue to post updates to this thread whenever we process a batch or if anything changes.

Another update...
As of today we have received a total of 121 appeal emails. The majority of these are from banned accounts and we have replied appropriately to these (i.e. no payment made and we have explained the reasons).
The remaining 27 appeals are of concern to us, as there is no evidence that the accounts were banned and so the withdrawals should have been processed at the time. We have taken to decision to pay these amounts out now, while we continue our investigations - so most of these people will now happily have their hard earned crypto. And we have emailed you to advise of this also, with our apologies for the delay.
As for why this happened, we currently dont 100% know. Since we announced the closure we have paid hundreds of thousands of withdrawals successfully, amounting to over half a million USD and clearing out our crypto wallets many times over!
The 'missing' withdrawals all seem to be for the late January period. We had some database corruption in early February which is a possible explanation (you might recall that the site was offline while this was fixed). We are continuing to investigate.
In the meantime, please continue to email us if you have a genuine missing withdrawal (as instructed above)
But please…
- Do not send DOGECOIN appeals yet!
- Allow us 48 hours (maximum) to deal with your appeal. It is time consuming working through these appeals, especially as most of them are unfortunately fraudulent and time wasting.

Unfortunately we still have quite a few DOGE withdrawals remaining in the backlog, but please rest assured that these will be processed as soon as possible over the coming days. We have mentioned before the reasons for this - but we will of course honor our commitment to pay everyone.
We are also aware that some users are still saying that they havent received their BTC/BCH/LTC/DASH withdrawals. This is very concerning for us as we sincerely want to make sure everyone gets their hard-earned crypto from CoinPot. We have spent some time over the last few weeks cross checking all the withdrawals against the blockchain transactions and we are confident that every withdrawal has been processed correctly. But we are not infallible, and we want to continue to look into this. However, we no longer own the CoinPot domain and of course cannot see any emails sent to our old support email address.

Hi everyone
As you are all aware, we closed CoinPot and the faucets completely at the end of February 2021.
As per our previous announcements, at that time all the sites were completely taken off line and we have scrubbed all "personal" data (email addresses, sign in info/2fa, ip addresses, faucet claim logs etc). We no longer own the domains and the servers are all now offline and being decommissioned.
However, we regrettably still have a backlog of pending withdrawals. We are continuing to work through this backlog as quickly as financially possible. One of the biggest problems that we did not anticipate was the massive increase in the value of the coins over the last few weeks/months (in particular Dogecoin, but all the other coins have also increased significantly). This has presented cash-flow challenges for us due to exchange withdrawal limits etc - which has resulted in this frustrating backlog.
In the meantime we have been made aware that there are threads on this forum where users are complaining about still not receiving their withdrawals and suggesting that we are engaging in fraudulent activity. This is very distressing for us to hear as we are fully committed to paying out everyone's final withdrawals as soon as possible.
This particular thread was created as the official announcement (ANN) thread when CoinPot was first opened. However we soon closed the thread following a number of toxic and personally threatening messages received, and moved to full support simply via our helpdesk email. Also for these reasons we will not engage in any discussions on those other threads.
As we no longer run the CoinPot web site, we have decided to re-open this ANN thread to simply give progress updates of the final withdrawals backlog. We will link to each and every blockchain transaction as they are paid over the next few weeks (hopefully!).
We should also make it clear that over the last few weeks of CoinPot's operation, we continued using our fraud system to identify and ban cheaters and scammers. As always, there are literally thousands of accounts that get caught by this system and banned. For better transparency, we will make a further post to try to explain how this system works later. But for now we just need to accept that there will always be a small number of complaints from these scammers about not being paid. We will NOT be bullied into paying out to these accounts - they broke our TOS and attempted to cheat us of large amounts of crypto. We will also not spend any time engaging in discussion with these people.
