Is it dead?
It's look like dev has left the project... But it's open source...
If somebody want to support this, it can become a Community coin...
Otherwise, it will dead...

Does anybody work with this project? Or the coin already was dead?
Just another new-algo-one-day coin like Astral or Minato?

How someone already stole their premine, sound fishy excuse

I explain it again because I see that it has not been clear.
Yesterday the coin was launched without my personal approval and a small group of users started to mine, including block 1 with 3%. At that moment I closed everything, I made a new genesis and several hours ago I launched this version.
One of our administrators said that "someone stole the premining" but it was just a mistake when explain the problem

any chance you could be more active in discord or just logged in would probably be useful

Unfortunately the Wallet doesn't sync. Is there a list of nodes?

Ok, figured it out. In case anybody is having the same problem. You have to copy the file copper.conf into the copper folder under appdata/roaming. There are already two peers in this file.

So strange... but I will wait until the launch. The project can be somehow interesting.

I know, it's not the best of the beginnings, but personally I prefer a fatal error previous launching than a fatal error with the live network

Shitcoin. The Dev has left the discord channel.

Sorry but the person who left the discord isn't dev

github page not found?

Relaunch today at 16:00 UCT +0

yes, github deleted, and the dev has left... another shit coin here!

The content uploaded to the github was uploaded without prior approval that's why it was removed, sorry but this project is far from dead

what happened? everything started so well

The project was uploaded to the github without being approved by me, this has caused an unofficial network to be created and someone (no copper team) have the premine.
The project will be relaunched today.

a joke?

It is because of the hack, someone stole all of their Premine coin which will cause a lot of damage to the project itself if they keep moving it.
why would they keep doing it when they know the fact that it has no future at all.
I thought it is gonna be another good coin like Grin or Veil for example, but I guess it is not that bad at all. At least nobody is losing anything in the process right now.

so this is all going to start in a few minutes from now , i'll try to be there to mine this from the beginning , if you are going to do all what needed to keep this a fair CPU-minable coin you are going to get a lot of work but i will absolute follow

16m premine coins = ~45714 x 350 coin blocks = ~96 days of PoW mining

Not that bad, but still a lot.

Your coin is based on bitcoin codebase?

Yep, bitcoin base

COPPER CURRENCY
(sorry, I can't insert images due to my user rank)

··············· OVERVIEW ···············

Copper is a new cryptocurrency that has been created in order to face the current mining problems. It's code implements the algorithm CPU23R, an advanced CPU mining system that resists FPGA, ASIC and achieved a higher benchmark value than a GPU.

Copper's main objective is to solve this problems:

· The centralization of the mining
· The lack of information relative to cryptocurrencies
· The high energy cost of the mining
· The lack of usability of the mayority of the cryptocurrencies

··············· FEATURES ···············

We protect the mining
The algorithm CPU23R is just the beggining, Copper will implement as many changes as needed in order to guarantee a fair CPU mining.

We are and support the Opensource
Practically half of the premining wil be used for Opensource proyects related to Copper and the Blockchain tecnology.

Open community
We are an open community, we have oficial communication channels but we acept any channel created by the comunity (like channels for specific languages). Also in a few months we will start to recruit new developers that will help us to improve our core and more applications.

Transparency
All the premined coins have been separated in different wallets based in what are going to be used. This wallets are visible from our website and all the movements made with them will be justified and detailed in notes inside the blockchain.
