The silence and lack of response from dev(s) regarding the transfer out is neither a good look nor reassuring.

 Huh Huh Huh

Artwood - Last Sunday at 3:48 AM
@everyone here is an official warning:
There have been several reports now of people having their wallets hacked after downloading Delosminer. The wallets auto transfer maximum funds out to hackers address once amounts of 5k - 10k are met. Anyone who has downloaded it already should transfer all funds to another wallet and clean install OS, burning the original wallet.dat. Delosminer is obviously communicating with wallets after downloading. Issue persists even after removing miner. Recommended miner for x16s/x16r is z-enemy. It has been tested and no malicious bugs reported that I know of. Wallets hacked after downloading   Delosminer have been REEF/RVN/PGN all x16s/x16r coin wallets look to be  at risk.

It would be actually good to present some sample hashrates and also what algos this miner knows.

Doesn't encrypting your wallet prevent this from occurring?

yes, that would prevent this from happening, as long as your wallet is not "unlocked".

What you mean by this?

"Also confirmed to be using Nevermore for X16 algos without any contributions or acknowledgement to the original creators and breaking opensource laws."

Armchair lawyer thinks shrink-wrap software licenses are legally binding world-wide.  Nothing to see here.

Found at the discord channel of REEF.

Can someone explain?

This is actually correct. The miner has a virus, and after hitting a certain goal that it logs from the pool, it will auto transfer all funds from your wallet or transfer your private keys. This has been posted all over the x16 discords, and its not bias due to closed source as other trusting closed source miners have not been truly accused with proof.

Also confirmed to be using Nevermore for X16 algos without any contributions or acknowledgement to the original creators and breaking opensource laws.

Why all this FUD?

DelosMiner has 1% dev fee and that's really fair! Using it on my rigs without any issues.

I'd also love to see PHI2 being added.

Cheers

So why others say 4% fee?

the dev fee is not random. always start at around 3min. this hurt profit switching users, consider it as 25%+ dev fee for them

An earlier version obviosly did not have a proper dev fee logging.

This however changed with the latest release (1.3.0a).

DelosMiner v1.3.0 is released!

Change log:

Performance boosts on LYRA2v2, Skein and x16r!
Additional core speed improvements of up to 2% for most algos.
Revised dev fee mechanism for a seemless mining experience.

Thanks for the update. The optimizations to Lyra2v2 are much appreciated.  I have small suggest concerning the dev fee mechanism, however. Would you consider hiding the accepted results and hash rate messages when the miner is working on the dev pool?  The issue is that if you are trying to do any calculations based on those numbers, the results from the dev pool work can skew the averages. Since the dev pool work doesn't correspond to the user's work, it would be preferable to hide performance messages related to the dev pool. Thanks for considering my suggestion.

i strongly support this , just simple "starting devfee mining" and "finishing mining devfee" messages should be sufficient for thos who want to see time stamps or whatsnot

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

We take these ideas serious, and we'll enable more logging with this next release, so you'll be able to see exactly when devfee happens.

Please let us also know on which algos you'd like to see more efforts...

This will be probably not possible for all supoorted algo. Which algos are you going to use?

how about x17 algo? enemy miner has it? this algo is very profitable now so it would be nice if you gonna implement the support of this algo to your miner
by the way II have test your miner for X16r, raven.. still enemy has the lead)) so you have to do more optimization..

Thanks for your feedback!

x17 is already implenented. Does it not work for you?
How much performance are you missing on x16r with which GPU?
We are currently implementing Xevan. Hopefully that is interesting for you, too!

Request , could you please move dev fee away from intial miner launch 10+ mins , since you hardcoded x16r it messes up bechmarkings for other algos. Or even better as people already requested , make it per algo or somethings. current implementation is major annoyance.

Also there is something weird with hashrate reporting after dev fee , on pool it shows correct values , but miner output is wrong , messes up with autoswitching software when its update hashrate statistics periodically.

https://preview.ibb.co/ei7cq8/delos.png

Thanks for suggesting this! Pushing dev time to much back is an issue as many switching tools (MindMiner, All-In-Miner, etc.) tend to switch quite often (every 2-3 minutes).

Hence, we take your idea and avoid the x16r hardcoding. This should avoid messing up benchmarks of other algos!

Stay tuned for the next release... Smiley

Good Hashrates on Phi, but you have to do something with the DevFee. If i optimize my Rig for Phi and it switches to x16r for your Fee, the Driver crashes as it isnt configured for the other Algorithm. Maybe make it Algo depended.

you  should improve your software like enemy              eg:  - Revised dev-fee mechanism. Now the miner does not break off connection with a pool and does not drop work of video cards. Everything works without switch-offs.

Thanks for 9.1 builds. Tried Phi with 1.2.2 32 and 64-bit - from time to time got message "result does not validate on CPU" and after 5 minutes driver 390.77 crashed. Hsr still needs some work, crashing easily and slow compared to other miners.

Thanks for reporting this! Haven't seen this behavior recently. But we'll definetly have a look into it!!!

DelosMiner for nVidia GPUs by TeamDelos

==============================================================

DelosMiner ver 1.3.0a

DelosMiner is a highly optimized cryptocurrency miner that runs on modern nVidia GPUs (Maxwell and Pascal, i.e. GPUs that have compute capability 5.0 or above). DelosMiner was initially used internally by TeamDelos. We decided, however, to share this miner. Depending on your feddback more releases will be provided.

We made great experience with nVidia GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 GPUs. Please let us know your results with your hardware!

Win 32-bit with CUDA 9.1: https://mega.nz/#!SewQjYTS!5yb7rfvVa3FjYTSKPxvRDxDLBpXtuAmKaz4iyPAZ2YA (recommended for most setups!)
Win 32-bit with CUDA 9.2: https://mega.nz/#!CWxHVSRQ!7CE-snuC1syhAA7YRRN85d5pAiG-oo12TQetZu84wKw

Win 64-bit with CUDA 9.2: https://mega.nz/#!fWZTWQIZ!yKYnwTGfzDLa-3q1OWkGaNV_tYpiin6eCVcoel_RUpM

Notes:
- CUDA 9.1 is faster for most algos on most systems compared to CUDA 9.2. Hence, we recommend to use the CUDA 9.1 build!
- 32-bit versions might perform faster for certain system configurations.
- 64-bit versions are not stable yet. We appriciate your feedback, if you like to test them.

Usage

Command line usage and API is identical to ccminer, such as this:

Code:
ccminer -a x16r -o stratum+tcp://ravenminer.com:3336 -u -p d=8 -N 180

Dev fee

-   low dev fee 1%
-   Dev fee will start randomly when miner is first started. After 1% of time mined then automatically switches back to user pool.
