Yes, we are planning to develop on the Arweave fork. While leveraging the core features of Arweave, our goal is to enhance the network and broaden its use cases by introducing a variety of innovative functionalities.
One of our primary objectives is to enable AI Language Models to operate decentrally on the blockchain network. This will be achieved through the integration of GPU and CPU capabilities into the mining and version management processes.
In addition, we aim to extend version management by introducing a new layer of functionality that reinforces the immutability of data on the network. As of today, we are rebranding our project from Digital Bureaucracy to BigFile. The renaming process, which began on May 3, 2024, marks a fresh start for the project. You can now follow all updates and innovations on our brand-new website: www.thebigfile.com.
Project Development Journey
The Digital Bureaucracy Project initially aimed to decentralize bureaucratic processes through a blockchain network. However, delays occurred due to slow adoption of blockchain technology by government institutions and limited engagement from the development team.
In response, Akif Dogan, the project’s creator and lead developer, rebranded and refocused the project as BigFile. Now under a 100% open-source framework, BigFile is no longer limited to bureaucratic processes. It aims to provide a robust decentralized and permanent data storage solution while serving a much broader audience with expanded use cases.
DBC Token to BIG Token Conversion
During the early stages of the Digital Bureaucracy project, DBC Tokens were distributed to a limited number of early supporters. Once the BigFile Mainnet launches, all DBC Token holders will automatically receive BIG Tokens, the governance token of the BigFile ecosystem. This conversion ensures that early supporters are fully integrated into the new and improved BigFile network.
