An update on the matte bars:
Due to quality control issues this batch is delayed, possibly up to another two weeks. I'm following this up with my manufacturer. Essentially this whole batch was a write-off surprisingly it actually had nothing to do with the matte-plating, there were a number of critical problems with the strikes themselves which were unacceptable. The problems seemed to have arisen with gross carelessness during the striking and polishing processes. I'll keep you informed.

The pure silver strikes are limited to 50. The plated and matte bars make up the bulk of the run. The matte haven't been officially released yet but they have been struck and will be available by next weekend.

Within 8 days I will have the matte batch available for sale! I was worried about the quality, but I like the fact that each bar has unique polish/plating patterns and the matte effect looks awesome.
And finally... after putting it off for years I've launched http://bigtimespaghetti.com/ where I will have information on all my collectables, complete mintage information on previous projects will follow soon. The only mintage information currently is related to this bar.
You can also purchase through the website. Currently only the pure silver bars are available. The matte will follow soon.

I'm trying to spread out ownership to as many people as possible and give them a chance. After this initial window I will be accepting orders for more than one pure silver bar.

haha you caught it! I updated that because I have a batch of plated that were originally meant to me matte, originally I was going to go ahead with just another regular plated batch, but I'm not quite comfortable with that as I wanted the final batch to be different. These additional bars have not gone on sale yet as I haven't decided to conclude this design run with the shiny plated or a fresh run of matte. I'm tempted to leave it up to the community. Perhaps I'll make a poll.
The reason the matte haven't been announced yet is that I'm not entirely happy with the final product. Thus I ordered the additional batch of 'original'.
To clarify, these bars will be destroyed if I go ahead with a matte batch and will not make it into circulation. Then the molds will be destroyed also.
If I go ahead with these instead of a matte batch, they will be the last bars to be sold in this design and molds will be destroyed.
EDIT: I should probably fix the numbers until the final decision has been made.

tracking was sent out on Wednesday- if you didn't receive it, there was either a problem with the tracking (which I will follow up this weekend) or your package was small enough to be sent as a 'letter' and did not need tracking. Don't worry though everything is packed extremely well and I've never lost an order through postNL.

postage update- I was going to post half today, but decided to continue to fill out customs paperwork for all orders. ended up be able to squeeze them in- half of the orders have shipped.

I was one of the people requesting the silver strike if it was possible and to give everyone a fair chance I'd recommend limiting the qty to 1 per person when they get launched.

Just the smaller orders need to be protectively packed now.
It's hard to judge since I'm still in message/order backlog, but I think all of the bars are now sold as of a day or so ago.
Not to worry for those still interested in a bar- while this series will not be re-run in it's current form (no more plating). I'll be making a pure silver run as mentioned above, with a limit to 1 per customer with a mintage of 50 pure silver bars.
For those that may want a cheaper option than pure silver I'll be doing a small matte metal run too in an effort to spread ownership a little more but without diminishing the rarity of the plated bars. Again with a limited 50 strike mintage.
Bringing the total of dogebars in circulation too 202.
That will be all the bars I'm striking for this design, this was always intended to be a limited run and once I've inspected the next shipment of pure silver and matte bars, the dies for this bar will be destroyed.

Thanks for the update. Take your time. I know that it is hard to prepare all of those shipments, especially when only a single person is doing all of the job. These Dogebars are one of a kind, and will make a great addition to any cryptocurrency enthusiast. Now that you've mentioned pure silver bars, I've become interested into buying one as well. Hopefully, these new bars would become extremely valuable due to their limited supply. I have the feeling that they may go up fast, so I'll try to do my best and check your latest posts for updates.

If you haven't paid already, you will need to get another order to match the current exchange rate. This is relevant to orders that by this morning had not paid. I'm not processing new orders yet so don't panic. Just a headsup.
If you left it to the last minute to send payment after the price drop you will be refunded.

Made another update, I've put two more into the market due to a screwup at my end. So it brings the total up to a wopping 102 in circulation

Well I spoke too soon, I had an order cancellation freeing up 3 silvers. Unless anyone has a problem with this I'm going to leave the test strikes in circulation- they were as good as my full run so there is nothing special about them.

This project was really a creative one (perhaps a little selfish as I just wanted to have a little fun) and to give back to one of the most long standing communities in crypto. This is why I didn't include cold storage as part of the design, cold storage wallets are a far more serious endeavour. These, I hope will be primarily attractive for collectors
You're welcome. I'm always a big fan of physical cryptocurrency coins, even if they were a non-loadable collector's item. And yes, cold storage are more serious and require a little more work.
Anyways, these bars are just fine to me and I'm sure that many crypto enthusiasts will love them as well. They commemorate Dogecoin's 4th anniversary which makes them a truly collector's item. Nonetheless, I've sent you a PM to make the purchase for the 2 silver bars. I'm just waiting for your response so that you could give me the total cost and BTC address to send the coins to. Can't wait to get my hands on these soon!

With only a limited supply of 100 bars in existence, this could become a very valuable treasure in the long term. As a suggestion, future bars could also serve as cold storage by allowing the user to load funds on them. But despite that, these bars are outstanding and would make a great addition to my arsenal.

A few days ago I finally got the shipment of the doge anniversary bars that I planned in early December and I have to say- it's some of my best work, but judge for yourself. I'm very excited to share this with you my wonderful shibes. It's been a long time since I've done a project for the fun of it, but I think you'll agree it is a striking design.
Doge has been kind to me over the years, I've come a long way since mining doge in my basement and now it's time to pay back a little of this kindness to dogecoin and the community that makes it possible.
Only 100 102 of these beautifully rendered plated bars have been minted (wow!) making it a truly limited edition. In addition to owning your lovely dogecoins, you too can own a little part of serious shibe history- such desirability.
50 pure silver bars have been added with variation on the design for a hallmark to indicate purity and weight.
50 matte bars will be available in March.
