I am in the process of creating a platform to invest in real companies issuing tokenized equity which can be traded on our exchange.
Unlike most platforms, this will:
1. Focus on growing companies, companies will only be permitted on the platform if they have a working product and are generating revenue.
Companies will be required to register their security with the SEC.
2. Require an application for investors and companies with due diligence screening for all participants.
3. Issue only equity tokens tied to profitability with dividends, voting rights, and other preferred or common stock privileges.
4. Investors will be managed by us on behalf of the company and we will use a third-party CPA for financial reporting.
(E.g. A SaaS company 6 months into their Beta has generated $20,000 per month and is growing at 50% per month.
This company conducts an initial Series-A for $3.0 M on EquityUp which is issued using equity based tokens with a dividend.
Once funded, the company's shares are capable of being sold and exchanged on EquityUp.)
In effect, our platform combines SeedInvest.com with Equidate.com for crypto.
