I read from a lot of ppl with the same problem, so is the ethereum chain broken? Is it not possible anymore to sync from scratch?

https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases

https://parity.io/parity.html

As I wrote, I already tried the latest Mist wallet. It's the same. Blockchain gets stuck around 3,599,xxx. Havent checked that parity thing, but I assume it's the same.

you wrote that nowhere  Wink

Synchronisation failed "retrieved hash chain is invalid"

Apparently there is data missing from your database. This can happen if your PC was shut down abruptly while Geth was in the middle of writing database entries. I don't think there's an easy way our of this, the db is corrupted. You'll have to remove your chaindata
Code:
geth removedb
  and sync from the start.

Is there any trick how to get the ethereum wallet synced? No matter what I try (geth + wallet or Mist directly) it always gets stuck around block 3,599,xxx.

Here I already wrote it. However, I appreciate your reply, but unfortunately, I already removed the db six times and started over (with 'geth removedb'). My system did not crash, it was running/syncing perfectly fine until block 3,599,xxx and then the errors appear in the log and it gets stuck.

Is there any trick how to get the ethereum wallet synced? No matter what I try (geth + wallet or Mist directly) it always gets stuck around block 3,599,xxx. Then it starts over after some time and again gets stuck.
Log is flooded with:

Code:
Synchronisation failed, dropping peer peer=db783b11b3f11235 err="retrieved hash chain is invalid"
Lied about chain head peer=d772a91a14992c6d reported=1800085 found=1800261
Rolled back headers count=42 header=3599761->3599761 fast=3599962->3599962 block=0->0

I read from a lot of ppl with the same problem, so is the ethereum chain broken? Is it not possible anymore to sync from scratch?

The cryptocurrency community is for sure left stunned by the recent meeting between Russian President Putin and the founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin.

I did not want to advertise this project. Simply, I believe that at the expense of such projects, the demand for Ethereum greatly increases.

Ethereum is probably the platform that has displayed the best performance in this year, from 10 usd to 200+ and with the biggest volume besides bitcoin.

That is true. I think the transaction speed is fast and fee is low.
