https://www.flashcoin.io/images/laptop-img.pngFLASH is not money, it’s a much bigger idea than money. It’s a community supported blockchain designed for small and fast transactions. People can send and receive FLASH and use it for just about anything, limited only by their imaginations. There are only 900m coins and they were all distributed to the community.
ince everyone runs at a different pace, here are some highlights of the Chris Q&A session for Part 1 & 2:
Part 1:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-2Kt5mpO8UQuick hits for Part 1:
- State of the Crypto Union: SEC ruling on utility tokens are securities, outlook: Market down but teams have 2+ months more work into their Blockchain projects
- Mammoth: We are currently set for Crypto-to-Crypto trading— finalizing software for Exchange. Fiat to Crypto
Is still a WIP but very positive work being made with banking partner Bank FRICK.
- Canada Exchange unveil: Unable to name at this point; Will have Fiat/Crypto and FLASH pairings. If volume
Is large enough, promises of a large Chinese exchange in FLASH’s near future
art 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rVRyLdw57A&t=9sQuick hits for Part 2:
- Mammoth Exchange Part 2: Mammoth is not decentralized— that’s not a bad thing. Businesses want someone to contact in case they have any issues. Coin offerings: Top 10 coins, looking into other ERC-20 coins. Mammoth will be a great way for people to transfer FLASH between exchanges. Fees will be variable depending on volume.
- Value proposition for small businesses: Move from a 3%-10% Credit Card charge to a less than a fraction of a penny with FLASH.
- Branding and marketing: Very happy with the brand design; website refresh coming very, very soon. New team members added to the developers to get the Blockchain upgraded.
- TestNet / MainNet work: About 2-4 weeks behind— making great strides.
- FLASH will enable Cryptocurrency projects to use the FLASH Blockchain as a backbone for new start ups
- FTI, in the final phases— all work on the FLASH end is completed, just waiting for FTI to finalize.
FLASH is designed for small payments, due to its low transaction fees, high speed, and throughput, all while retaining its BTC/LTC heritage and functionality. This makes FLASH ideal for loyalty, registration and messaging applications, and is perfect for customers and businesses using small payments. We know efficiency is essential for most transactions, so we benchmarked FLASH up to 25,000 txn/sec on a $700 i7 computer consuming less than 80 watts of power. Because of this, FLASH is eco-friendly and easy on your pocketbook.
FLASH supports a number of online wallets including Coinomi, Coin Payments, QT (Windows, Mac, Linux) and an easy to use online wallet designed for the mass consumer market. If you can make online payments, you already know how to use FLASH.
