Well i think if you offer your work as proof youll have more tickets for win, you not need show proof of your working coin, but im sure you can loose one week or couple of days from your life, for develope a empty coin for future buyers can test and your work without disturb your community and you can do modifys in that coin for offer to the buyers if they claim.

3 tips.
- in first post you are offering provide block explorer two times (that shows you write that at time without sheet or making off).
- i dont know how legit is have same post in diferent folders of forum as here and market at same time. I think is more profitable offer your work inside your coins, in a separated tab, as lot of devs do. Mouth to mouth marketing is more profitable as bumping thread marketing.
- if you offer sen the work in 2-5 days, you MUST have a test coin, for "clients" can download wallet for test, test explorer, claim you do a change in code a swap test, everything the client would like to implement and know first to pay, if you cant do it, If you havent time for do that, you wouldnt expect future clients looks your work seriously.

You're asking for a lot of money here, and a big red flag has already come up -- cutting your price enough in an attempt to get people to pay you for your service that no one knows AS OF YET, if you're able to perform.

I'd provide this for free to a trusted member, who'd be able to vouch for the service. That'd do wonders -- alongside using a trusted escrow for future orders.
