Why almost new/ strange coins listed on the Bisq.network exchange?
Additionally, has the IDAPAY got free listing on the exchange without demand from the IDAPAY team?

the wallet is working well, so I have the right version and nodes, but IDA is still N/A on bisq

Bisq is peer to peer, totally decentralized, even the listing process. All listings are free, since there is no central entity.
We pushed the commits to list to bisq github.

Yes it is the same. As I said we are approved, but have to wait for the next code update of Bisq before you can trade IDA there.
Bisq is totally decentralized, also in the listing process, which happen on their github.

Nowhere to trade IDA now after altmarkets.cc went down.. We're approved into Bisq, but it is probably too difficult to use for many.
Looking for a new exchange so we'd be most happy for any inputs.
Being so small though as we are now it can wait until our wallet updates are done in my opinion.

You should set the masternode in masternode.conf, not ida conf..
Open your explorer, and type in %appdata% then enter. You should get a list of folders, where you also find IDA's config folder. In there you find the files you need to change.

I'm trying to set MN on my windows wallet.
After seting my IPv4 and port, I am not able to open the core wallet and change Wallet conf file.

Error msg I get is:

At the moment the revenue from the running MN will not cover your hosting costs, so is better to loose 5/10% and use some service that do not charge You hosting and HODL long the generated coins
this is my strategy for IDA and some other MN coins that are a few satoshi valued

Hey i got a mate trying to get acouple Mns up and running and he having issues, sentinel issue or something .
have/did u have these issues? ( i seen acouple taking about in old thread but not more info was givin on how to fix..
Any ideas on fix or easy walk threw?
Also is it best to run on external servers rather than local servers?

the main problem in choosing a project for investment by a venture fund is the correct expert opinion, so I would not trust the opinion of people who are versed in the issue

ive stopped mining as im helping hard but when asking for help back non givin...
No help with masternode setup and sentinel issues

same can be said about other coins. only time will tell, all i can say is you dont know whats cooking under the hood, the road map wasnt announced yet because we didnt wanted to make big promises just for attraction

This coin won't succeed in. It wasn't worth then and now. This project has not future.

i think when price is more, above 100 to 1000 sats mining would be profitable again so if we are considering increase in block reward for pow we also should consider if the buy support would keep the price stable

Well, I’am running a ida MN, but will be happy if I coul have good earnings connecting my D3s too, at this point, the cost of the elec. is higher then the revenue from the mining, maybe nit in all parts of the world, but my case is this, so, I am happy with the fact that the MN reward will remain the same and will test the mining profitability as soon you change the block reward for miners, it could be a solution, we all have to do our own math

The numbers we have been considering is raising the reward from 18 to 24 per block, and changing the split from 80/20 to 60/40; so the end result would be no change for the masternode owner, but miners would go from 3.24 to 8.64.  Of course that would effect the time until max supply; but what are your thoughts from a miner perspective?

For the masternode owner it is good; for the miner, not so good.  We have been discussing making adjustments that minimize the impact of any changes in percentage to the masternode owner, while also providing more incentive for the miners.  As we have seen multiple times in the past month... miners are essential to the stability of the network.

To your question, don't always look at the percent of the reward, but also the amount of the reward compared to the block time and the max supply of the coin.  For example, some coins out there look amazing at the surface, but when you think about it a little, it's really "too good to be true".  For example, a coin that gives 90% to the MN and 10% to the miner may have network issues if the miners all leave.  Combine that with a high payout, like 20% of the master node collateral for a block reward looks promising, but if you do the math it could turn out that is only sustainable for a couple months before the max coin cap is reached.

There is a balance that is necessary to keep both the miners and the masternode owners happy for a long life of the coin.  This often is not nearly as attractive as some of the coins that are out there; but that balance is necessary for a long stable life of the coin.

The project offering 80% reward for the masternode owner, does that a good reward value?

I think it's important to add that the original developers made an announcement of abandonment with a 48 hour window for questions.  The coin was dead; and dropped to 1 satoshi very quickly.  So anyone saying the coin is worth less now... is just FUD. 

3 of us, with no prior affiliation, banded together to lead a community takeover.  None of us were planning on taking it over, but we had 48 hours to jump in and keep the coin from completely going dead.

Yes, it's been a few weeks now, and we still don't have full control of things yet.  There is plenty that we would love to do (exchanges, listings, giveaways, etc) but we pretty much have zero budget.  We are now a grassroots movement and 100% volunteers.  Everyone has a say in the direction, everyone has a stake in volunteering.

Yes, we don't have a formulated business plan, road map, team of developers, yada yada yada.  But we have the coin still alive; almost a month after it's death announcement.

So I won't accept anyone bitching about our progress.  If you don't like what you're seeing, I'll personally buy your coins for the 1 satoshi it bottomed out at when we stepped in.  If you don't like what you're seeing, step up and volunteer and join us.  If you just want to complain about the people that are bringing the coin back from the brink, and not have patience as we sort this out... there's a gazillion other coins out there, and we won't bat an eye at your departure, because we have much more important things to do for Idapay then to worry about anyone's armchair judgement.
