EOS crowd-funding will end on June 1, 2018 at 22:59:59 UTC. Within 23 hours after the crowd-funding ends, EOS released on Ethereum will stop the transfer. Therefore, before crowd-funding is over, users must generate an EOS wallet and map the EOS public key of the generated wallet to the Ethereum blockchain so that the EOS main network tokens can be obtained after the EOS main network is started. Users who have not completed EOS wallet mapping before June 2, 2018 at 21:59:59 UTC will permanently lose their assets.
However, according to the data released by blockchain security firm Peck Shield, until May 25, 2018, 51.7% of users have not yet performed EOS mapping even though the EOS mapping process is quite simple. In order to protect the fundamental interests of the majority of EOS users, we strongly recommend:
1. Simply transfer your EOS tokens to your escrow account in Kcash wallet and kcash will automatically complete the mapping process for you. For the new version, we will open EOS Super Node voting feature for users who hold EOS in escrow account. Users who participate in the voting will receive the voting reward.
2. Alternatively for users who have not transfered their EOS tokens into the escrow account, we will create an EOS wallet for each user in the new version of Kcash wallet that will be launched next week (before the EOS main launched). The new version will feature a new EOS wallet featuring a “EOS One-click Mapping” option. This will allow users to manually perform the mapping procedure themselves, however, any transfer costs for this will be charged to the user.
