Talked to some contacts there out of the financial (fiat). Community and their feedback was that it should be ok. Plus the advantages of the excellent banking system that might be of advantage for vircurex. Only disadvantage is compared to e.g. Belize is that you must have a local director and the costs are also significant higher.

Again, at this point in time it is still under investigation.

Why do you think moving to Singapore is the solution?

So please do it and move your business to Singapure or similar. Then we will invest. At this moment, it's exactly the same service as GLBSE was, and we can expect it's shutdown in couple of months or so.

Have used cryptostocks for 3 or 4 months, it is a great service. In terms of the view, it is more clear and easy to have the overview of the market. In terms of API features, the features are not even to compare with the GreatLiarBitcoinStockExchange. And from the same company of cryptostocks, Vircurex is also reliable and clear. Moreover, I've had some eMail conversation with both Vircurex and Cryptostocks. Both are responsive and they are really in a working attitude, in comparison with Nefario.

This is a stock exchange that we need - a constantly improving and responsive exchange


If a twin look similar to another one, does it mean that they have the same knowledge, personality....

A similarity in layout is most likely because we use similar technologies, for the layout: Bootstrap (http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap) hence the familiarity of the interface. As for the functionality I believe we have added many additional features:
 - Litecoin and Devcoin support ontop of Bitcoin
 - Offline shares
 - Options
 - Voluntary verification
 - faster performance
to name but a few.

To comment the legality and possible legal actions, we'll need to look at two aspects, the legality of using the platform based on the country from where you (the user are) and the legality of operating such a platform in the country where the business is operated from. To be more specific about our location, we are looking at incorporating in one of the usual offshore countries (Singapore to name just one). As far as our research has so far shown, offering a Bitcoin based crowd funding platform in these countries should be within the relevant regulations.
 
Given the current climate of distrust and uncertainty of Bitcoin related businesses in general and crowdfunding in specific, noone at this point in time can give you a 100% guarantee until the day we see actual legal actions being taken against such platforms and awaiting their outcome.

In order to protect yourself, don't invest more than you can afford to loose.

OK. What's your guarantee, that your service is any better than GLBSE? Is there any difference? Even interface looks the same. We will move our investments to your site and what? In 6 months you will close the site, because of legal actions against it?

You know you can use something like jurov's coinbr.com or a broker to handle all that for you, right? You don't have to interact straight with the exchange infrastructure if you don't want to, aren't comfortable doing it or simply see no need for that. Much like it works irl.

This obviously has nothing to do with relisting old GLBSE assets, cryptostocks is probably as good a place as any (possibly better, seeing how iirc Kumala is the only exchange operator to have received a rating from MP).

I am sure they will, despite her trolling, 30btc is only getting steeper by the day.

Well, I used to think the same about GLBSE and Mpex.

Guess what, Mpex is still there. Both its handling of stocks and the usage of signed contract make it very secure. Therefore I tend to believe it will be there a long time.

But in one thing I agree: It's a pain in the a** to handle.

Also there is the 30BTC (?) entrance fee, which make it a no go as GLBSE replacement.

Therefore I think using the free Cryptostocks is a good way of relisting the GLBSE assets.

I hope that many of the Issuers will do this.

Its  a bit hard to buy and sell shares because theres no orderbook listed on the trade page below the input field to buy or sell. This makes it easier to set your bids or asks.
