What we aim to build is an infrastructure that would underpin any decentralized app that uses geolocation. We’re talking about a foundation for the future decentralized Uber, Tinder, Airbnb, Booking, and lots of other things that legitimately require geolocation.
Our idea is that there is a great option to build apps like those that would be governed by smart contracts and the general community rather than a centralized administration.
To that end, we are going to use geofencing tech and digital dictionaries for reputation, tracking, and so forth. The resulting infrastructure would be not just decentralized, it would be totally independent on anyone but the people who actually use it.
This brings up the next question.
CAN WE ACTUALLY DO IT?Generally speaking, yes, we can. Our team includes prominent scientists, developers, and coders.
Read our white paper to find out the details:
https://geom.finance/geom-whitepaper.pdfBut still, there is another question.
WHO ARE WE?Yes, we remain anonymous for the exact reason you thought about: we have something to hide. Our team consists of prominent scientists involved in international projects in physics in the EU and Switzerland. Our contracts and NDAs forbid us from getting involved in projects other that described therein, so we have to keep our identities under the wraps in order to make this project a reality.
WHY DO YOU DO THAT THEN?Well, if a question like that has crossed your mind, here’s the answer. We truly believe that the future of the global economy is decentralized and lies with cryptocurrency-based infrastructure. We are interested in offering our share to the economy of the future.
So, if you please, here’s our white paper once again:
