Creator Token
Creator Tokens unlock the ability for creators to issue their own tokens, empowering them to capture revenue, engage communities, and turn viewers into stakeholders.
Automated Market Maker (AMM)
AMM simplifies trading for Creator Tokens by offering an efficient way to manage sales, utilizing advanced algorithms for seamless price adjustments.

What is Joystream?
Joystream is a protocol for video platform applications where all profiles, videos, and social interactions live on a dedicated high-throughput blockchain. A user-controlled DAO funds creators and builders and operates the content infrastructure. Developers can build new applications on an open network effect with APIs they can trust forever. This empowers them to experiment with new algorithms and policies that can delight creators in new ways. Creators can build their business on a solid foundation. They can issue a revenue-sharing Creator Token to fund their projects. They can also sell video NFTs to capture more value from their greatest fans.

Joystream blockchain
Joystream blockchain is a standalone L1 blockchain with its own independent validator set. Currently, there is only a single reference implementation, which is written in Rust and is based on the Substrate blockchain development framework. This means that the consensus and networking logic have already been implemented, and the community can focus on the domain-specific state machine, which is core to Joystream.
On December the 9th, 2022, the genesis block of the Joystream mainnet was finalised, and production and finalisation of the first blocks began.

Atlas is a frontend single page application that allows users to interact with the Joystream network - basic functionalities include watching and publishing content, managing channels, issuing and trading NFTs, and more. For a brief introduction on how Atlas works and what services it interacts with, you may want to start with the architecture overview. Using the Atlas app, you can create your own web3 application to interact with Joystream content library, such as Gleev.xyz
Pioneer
Pioneer is the governance app for Joystream DAO.
Pioneer is the place to participate in community governance and operation. Vote on elections, submit proposals or enter a paid role to support the platform growth.
All actions performed in Pioneer go directly to the Joystream blockchain.
Joystream token
JOY, being Joystream’s native token, is used to govern and keep the network secured. It’s used as a currency in all dApps built on Joystream.
