The previous version of Lion (X11) ran into some serious issues due to the overwhelming power of multipools mining, confirmations being very high, and the community not being satisfied with the small block rewards.
We have addressed all these problems and added some exciting new elements that are included in this update.
The result will be X13 LION that should give more incentive to mine with a POW phase, and also POS phase for holders to stake their LION coins.
All of this is made possible as we switch to a new codebase and blockchain. This will require a coin swap, which will be done manually with ease. If you hold coins on the Bittrex exchange or others, they will be automatically converted for you. For people holding any LION coin on their local wallet, simply provide your wallet.dat file with your new LION address to be compensated ([email protected]).
