Reserved for this, however you have a nice website.
Good luck.

Thanks for the response!

At the moment we have a centralized version running privately, however we plan on making it decentralized, trustless and unstoppable, just like Bitcoin :-)

Hi bitcointalk!

We’re pre-announcing LoanCoin: a decentralized bank / crowdlending network:
  • As a lender, you buy a coin giving you a claim on a portfolio of loans. Interest revenue is re-invested into new loans with the goal of generating consistent and stable increases in value.
  • When you borrow money, you can collateralize your loan with digital assets (loancoins or bitcoins for now, more exotic smart property in the future). This collateral can be posted by you or co-signers (people or groups who trust you).
  • If you know which people won't default, you can co-sign for them and earn interest on your collateral.

Our vision is to make LoanCoin decentralized and trustless but for the time being, we’re running a centralized version on top of Counterparty. Whether you want to use the Counterparty-based prototype or wait for the trustless decentralized version, you can request an invite for early access. (Due to the recent FinCen/SEC rulings, we’re making sure all our legal/regulatory ducks are in a row before officially launching.)
