The Lood Company Acquires Six Struggling Adult Crypto Projects[AVN]

Q1 is looking to be back-loaded with lots of interesting news and even more expansion on the way. The Lood project is a bootstrapped operation with a particularly aggressive stance toward the adult crypto sector and our counterparts. This operation has a few moving pieces, some of which have nothing at all to do with cryptocurrencies. But it would be disingenuous to say that the parts do not make up the whole and we do take our commitment to these projects very seriously. Consider our ambivalence to common success metrics like holders and trading volume to be a side effect of our efforts to take a long term view.

Happy new year! In 2024 we will be looking into more effective methods of distribution and airdrops in addition to a very significant increase in the amount of LOOD holders and general circulation. Don't blink or you'll miss the news about what could be yet another (or multiple) adult cryptocurrency projects joining the Lood project as direct affiliates. Our relationship with affiliate projects is that of custodian in which we may retain stakes in the total number of coins or tokens to the tune of 2% or more with exceptions.

Nice to see an amalgamation of tokens under the one umbrella blanket.

This is going to sound riDICKulous but $DICK is joining The Lood Company as a GameFi token based on Solana. We are also bringing $ANAL back. Which has operated on a standalone blockchain since 2015 and will be re-introduced into Triple X Tycoon 2 as a native reward token. Gained mostly after winning awards in that category. So you’d better be good at it if you want any.

We know about TL, seems cool to us? I am not here to judge. We encourage you to have some fun with this. That’s what we are hoping to offer in the short and long term.

Also, the project is backed by a small group of producers from a motley crew of adult content studios. I myself was the co-founder of one particularly notable adult crypto startup from almost a decade ago. I wasn’t alone and we heavily explored this niche as a community in those days.

Like most chains created around 2014, today it would be considered neither having been a runaway success, in terms of long-term utility, or failure, considering its long history. These things depend on the reasons why you’re in crypto.

I’d like to reiterate after some edits that any platforms(s) we develop here will be compatible with as many adult cryptocurrencies as possible. Like SXC, an old affiliate with tech I am familiar with. So it’s really not some competition to us.

TLC is excited to announce the development of an an untitled Lood app, operating like Linktree for the adult industry. Complete with cross-platform analytics and other tools targeted at helping adult content creators focus on the big picture. This will be rolled out in close collaboration with multiple other projects in this niche. More news coming soon!

TLC has been issuing transparency reports in order for potential holders to maintain an accurate picture of our token data/analytics. These began prior to LOOD being tracked on aggregates such as Nomics or Coinranking. Continuing to do them is our way of adding more context to that data.

What reports? Are you being audited by the agency of state or is SEC on the revery for your ass? I have kidnapped too many animals to not listen to my word. It gets out by wind. Everything said here will not leave this topic as it is too heavy to just get lifted off the internet page. I have probed network stats and was amazed at its suprasegmental instability. Likewise ur gaming module is too unstable to yet be marketed to participants. Mend it up.

We have been working to relaunch the old Lood mainnet as LoodCash after the initial test and have added the following network nodes:

The Triple X Tycoon integrated cloud wallet is now available for Windows and, soon, Linux.  This update will allow users to register an account, obtain a LOOD address and more. 

The original LOOD source code, which is derived from Litecoin and Titcoin but will remove QT and strip the remaining code down to its CLI wallet, will be released this month.

To obtain free LOOD, a cloud wallet account will need to be created.  Your account will be credited with a starting amount of LOOD which - while the game is being balanced - will remain untouched until deposits and withdrawals are enabled. In the meantime, users will be free to play the game normally using an off-chain version of LOOD.

Consider this release an open pre-alpha. At the conclusion of which all progress will be wiped, and all restrictions on earnings, withdrawals and deposits will be lifted.  The purpose of this particular release is to load test the platform and accept bug reports regarding the actual gameplay before allowing players to operate the software as you would a regular/standard cryptocurrency wallet.

The cloud approach was inspired by my work on a previous project which emphasized minimalism in cryptocurrency. As I do believe that simplicity is the key to adoption.  People prefer software that just works.

The initial Bitcointalk post has been updated to reflect these changes and early adopters can expect another update soon.

Our roadmap has also been updated to reflect recent changes in the direction of this project.  A new bounty/giveaway will be announced shortly in order to stimulate token dispersal.

Our article on creating the first adult blockchain game has been edited to include updated screenshots reflecting key changes to the core engine. We will also be moving forward with an airdrop soon!

This project has recently pivoted to leaning a lot harder on our adult blockchain game studio to influence the direction of development. Stay up to date!  

The September report is now available.

September was exciting as the project received listings on CoinHunt, Nomics, Coinrankings and CoinSniper respectively. As a result we have extended our month-over-month column to include the “Total” amount of LOOD in circulation. A bounty campaign has also begun which has allowed us to take a more structured approach to token distribution and by extension, decentralizing the asset.

All adult industry related coins and tokens.  Including defunct ones in the future, for which we plan to offer a 1-to-1 swap.  Also yes there will be BTC support since initially the platform was meant to work only with Bitcoin-derived digital assets.  Thankfully this is no longer the case!

Are you targeting just ERC20 tokens, or other Adult Entertainment related coins and tokens?  Will you also enable Bitcoin/DOGE/Ether wallets to enable in wallet exchanges?

Small update, just yesterday we managed to create a screenshot based on WIP tech showing a glimpse into how the platform intends to support multiple adult cryptocurrencies.

The adult industry in crypto is not new and I noticed many similar projects did not exist until now.

There is little traffic to the site. This shows that few people know about this project until now after 4 months of launch.

Yes, I had imported the coin onto my app (mobile phone) both coinomi (which is the App I was using for the trade) and Ballet Crypto Apps - I get the same error on both the uniswap DApp within the App - as I do on the website (which is where I got the screen grab from)

Looks like you were halfway there, you do need to import the coin in order to pair it for trading in Uniswap V3.  

Also quick update, The LOOD July report will be available before the weekend.

Are there any other DAap's that LOOD is being traded on?  I was able to add the token to coinami and Ballet Crypto Wallets, however, when I tried to make a trade to buy LOOD, I came up against that error notation.

Our team is made up of performers and some of us even produce content for multiple studios.  We're actually on the ground and can pilot our solutions within the industry before rolling out promises for the sake of PR. Despite perceptions it's actually very insular. We're also developers, whereas other projects tend to focus on marketing or incur early expenses in hiring devs just to test ideas.  We've been building our platform for years now and were involved in some of the earliest attempts at adapting blockchain to this industry.

Ultimately we can ensure a use case for LOOD regardless of whether or not our broader base of peers adopt it.  And this may not even happen in the way that we see it. But we can and are willing to see what sticks in the long run.  Using our games portfolio to expand on interactive potential so far has been a great time.  Integrating it into the stores of our own brands is also way to benchmark its merits as a method of exchange.  We can create NFTs out of generated game characters if we wanted to and build out a platform for that.  But none of that is the plan right now.

I guess my point is that we're a just team of enthusiasts who have literal skin in the game.  Not just another company trying to figure out how to capitalize on something they don't understand.


Right, and things have not gotten better.  In the past month alone studios received new restrictions on partnered content featured on OnlyFans.  In addition, major content selling services like Clips4Sale will be removing decades-old content from their platform for compliance purposes.  The industry needs decentralized solutions now more than ever.

Considering that credit card companies and banks consider the adult industry a high-risk sector, where disputed transactions are common, adult sites pay higher processing fees than other businesses. According to a Forbes article, cryptocurrency systems have many benefits for the adult industry. For example, transactions with cryptocurrency can be made without any legal risks. These advancements have created a new opportunity for producers and consumers and, as the world moves away from relying on fiat currencies, cryptocurrency is rapidly gaining traction with the adult industry, and it's easy to see why. 

I wonder why the adult industry coins have been popping up a lot lately,,, I already started following two thinking it was unique but now more and more coming up.

None seem to be really doing something truly unique. One was NFT and one was currency, but what is the "special sauce" of your project?

Hello and welcome to the Bitcoin Talk Forum site!  I'm always on the look out for new investments to add to my portfolio. I was wondering, would it be possible for you to post the contract TX for us here please?  I use Android APP wallets Ballet, Tangem and coinomi and am able to add ERC20 etc contract tokens into those APPs (which is always a head start for new crypto ventures wanting to get their product out to the masses early).
