I see. Although it didn't happen to me when i tried exchange on their website some time ago.

Indeed, it doesn't seem to ever be an issue when exchanging

Crypto Swap Exchange

What exactly do you mean by "website isn't super reliable"? Downtime? Bugged?
It shows an error and requires you to reload the page a few times.

I've observed the Majestic Bank website isn't super reliable, but most users probably don't know MB also has a pretty good Telegram bot: https://t.me/MajesticBank_BOT
Where have you most experienced the unreliability? Is it the clearnet or the tor mirror website?
Also, just wondering, doesn't using a telegram bot compromise one's privacy, which is the main goal of using the exchange?

I experienced it with the clearnet site. And yeah, using a Telegram bot isn't optimal for privacy but like ABCbits says some people are willing to do that trade off.

Even some mixer offer similar Telegram bot. So i guess some of their customer either not aware of privacy risk of using Telegram or don't care about losing some privacy.

Thanks for showing your interest in bank inner working.

The usage and control of the bank wallet (your keys your coins) will allow control and use of your coins regardless of bank website availability thus making the bank just medium of easy way to accessing and using specifically Monero but also Bitcoin and with high level of privacy.

Upon creating the account you will be promoted to create new wallet ( Monero / Bitcoin ) and password to encrypt it.
Option to import already existing wallet is possible however not needed.

Transparency of blockchain will allow to confirm that only you are actually in control of your coins, not like when you deposit them on centralized exchanges or websites showing you amount of your coins from the database you "OWN".

Why better exchange rate for loyal customers? We believe in high customer satisfaction. Specially when you trade higher amount exchange fee goes below 1%

Atomic swap exist, decentralized exchanges exist but they hadn't solved major problem they should in first place.
They are low liquidity, slow and not easy to use. You also have no idea who is bitcoin provider on the other side, making a possibility of receiving tainted/tracked coins in the first place.

Majestic Bank is here to provide a shield making sure transaction is performed fast, your coins will never be locked or lost and with maximum privacy possible consider current state of cryptography and technology.

Why on earth someone would import their wallet.dat files [and the seeds for Monero] into the web while there's no need for such a thing?

Stage I

Swap between BTC - XMR

With Monero having implemented atomic swap vs bitcoin, I am not sure why a third party "bank" would be necessary.
I find all this just an excuse to get people's wallets and coins. Maybe I am to wary, maybe OP will tell that there's no good reason for my reaction; I would be happy to be proven that I was wrong.

Crypto Swap Exchange
Next feature is API and direct Monero/Bitcoin storage

Direct storage meaning coins will be storored/controlled on tor/web with Monero seed (from official wallet) / Bitcoin core .dat file

So you see your coins and control them at all times ( with web or your own wallet setup )

Wallets will be encrypted with your password so we can't access it or anyone else
Wallets for Bitcoin and Monero using direct storage technology ( your keys, your coins )

Do I have to register account to use the Exchange services?
Not required but having account will provide you better exchange rate and control over your exchanges.
It's a bit strange that having an account leads to a better rate [it doesn't make sense], but do you mind explaining the latter part more?

Thank you for having time to check out our website.

Support is provided via Support Tickets, Jabber and Telegram. For privacy reasons and due to having multiple options email support is not required and considered as medium of communication that can be seized, falls under jurisdiction of country/company law.

Support Tickets are handled over Tor v3 protocol, Jabber is based on very offshore and reliable server exploit.im that proved it's name over the years and Telegram is one of instant messengers that when used correctly provide enough degree and respect to user privacy.

Bitcoin lost it's privacy foundation totally and websites providing exchanges services for Monero are becoming more and more regulated.

Exchanging Bitcoin to Monero and vice versa became a risk because of seizures with promise of false KYC security.

You can't blame those LLC companies for doing bad work because they are bound by laws of country they are registered in.

For MajesticBank only law we follow and respect is Crypto law and we don't know what is KYC or Jurisdiction.

The Bank services will come available in stages.

Stage I

Swap between BTC - XMR

Stage II

API, Telegram and Jabber bot

Stage III

Wallets for Bitcoin and Monero using direct storage technology ( your keys, your coins )

Direct storage meaning coins will be storored/controlled on tor/web with Monero seed (from official wallet) / Bitcoin core .dat file

All I see is some Russian website with bunch of domains purchased last month, and no explanation how this ''bank'' exactly works, except some vague claims that coins are controlled with Monero seed.
FAQ page is poorly written and there is no email support, only Jabber and Telegram accounts that also gives me a red flag feeling.
I would be very careful and avoid using this bank exchange for now.
