Hey Masternode owners, be aware that the collateral change will occur between 8 and 9 AM (UTC) on Friday, March 03, 2023.
Change will start at block 300,000, and you will have 100 blocks where both new and old MN collateral value will be accepted, for smoother transition.
So from block 300,001 to block 300,100, masternode with collateral of 25k and 50k will receive rewards (28 MACO).
Starting on block 300,101 only masternode with 50,000 MACO collateral will receive rewards.

This type of setup is less decentralized than if you had 10,000 blocks of PoW going before switching to PoS/MN. There are a lot more miners out there than people who would buy enough to MN.
Yes, being early is the best but how this is setup, I'd rather wait for an exchange, wait for the price to hit rock bottom then, maybe, buy into an MN for $5.

How do we get in on the first 1000 blocks of pow
You don't, this is not a mining coin. Mining is use only to start the blockchain for the first 1000 blocks. Then Transactions will be validated by masternodes.
There is no other way to start this blockchain, so the mining on the first 1000 blocks will give us sufficient time to set up enough masternodes to swish to POS at block 1001.
Furthermore, validating transactions with mining take 100s times more energy than validating transactions with a masternode network.
