If you read carefully, it seems that this text was written by several people of different nationalities. And why make a revolution? It is better to do just fine.
We believe that the current VC model is outdated. VCs are not necessarily bad, we just think that they are not good enough. By definition a revolution is the overthrow of some type of order, in favour of a new one and in this sense, we don't want to replace VCs ,we want to open up a whole NEW field that is democratising funding for everyone.
