The regular medallions are SOLD OUT but you can still get the Physical Bitcoin Wallets while supplies last:

UPDATE

You can now purchase these medallions separately and, with some restrictions, you can purchase LOADED physical bitcoins!

Visit http://BitcoinMint.com for details.  Cool

The price of 14.95 (+ shipping) includes a set of medallions (2 medallions) or just 1 medallion?

The first option at the ordering form displays "Bitcoin Medallion - Se... 14.95 (USD)", hence it is not very clear.

Can I assume that the price for 1 medallion is :"Price: $10 + $5 shipping and handling" as stated at the bottom of the "medallions" page, and for a set $14.95 ?

And since those are individually numbered & limited to 100 (and obviously you have already sold some already), how is it possible to offer the option "100 units: $750 + FREE shipping and handling" ?

Please clarify

Sorry about the confusion, I'll try to clarify:

These were originally sold as a set but I have now split up the remaining units into:

1.) Bitcoin Medallions (no space for private key). Individually numbered and priced at $10 + $5 shipping (cart fixed) - SOLD OUT
and,
2.) Physical Bitcoins (unloaded or DIY) $10 $15 + $5 shipping = $20 each or $75 for 5  with FREE shipping

I've already sold about 20 of these but I will be minting the 2017 series shortly so there will be more available for quantity orders. If you have a # preference just shoot me a message and I'll see if it is available. Smiley

Thanks!
Trader Steve

Bumping this topic Cheesy.

My coins arrived today. They look pretty good and the COA looks awesome as well. I'm very impressed by the fact that you're selling 2 nice looking coins + a great quality COA for only $30. Well done man!

Thanks to all! I hadn't checked this thread in several weeks but it looks like the questions got answered by everybody. Happy Holidays!

Hmm wait a minute, yours say "original" right? I think these should say authenticated on them, could wait and see if someone else cares to reply as well, sorry for any misinformation.
It says 'authentic' between those original lines. It i just hard to spot due to the way that the picture has been taken. I got 3 holograms of this type.

Ah, then it should be the correct one Cheesy

No, no it's not that. I got a huge box of items shipped at once, and was not sure which holograms belonged to which DIY coins. Lips sealed Thanks.

Received mine the other week and they look very crisp, high quality and better looking than most higher end coins! Needless to say I love them, and with the documentation it's a very nice addition to any collection. Love that I can keep one safe and throw around the double Smiley
Could you check your holograms and post a picture/compare to these (sorry for bad quality picture)?

Thanks to all for the multiple sales over the last 24 hours. I ship same day or next day via Priority Mail with tracking so you should have your medallions within a few days.

Here's a suggestion for anybody who is striving to join the 21 Million Club (owning a full bitcoin): why not buy number 21? That would be pretty cool.   Smiley

BIP 38 - If you prefer, you can create and send us a BIP 38 encrypted Private Key using BitAddress.org (or similar utility) and we will install it with the hologram security seal for you prior to shipping. Just paste your encrypted Private Key in the "comments" section when placing your order.

I am definitely interested.  I would rather order them directly through you, so I know that I am getting the number I reserved.  Also, I would want to use escrow.  If you can arrange that, I will place an order for my #2 medallion.

Thanks! Smiley

Yes, it is $29.95 + $6 shipping and it includes BOTH coins.

When I try to order two, it wants $72 worth of bitcoin.  I was expecting "includes BOTH coins" to mean ~$30 X 2 + $6 = $66 worth of Bitcoin.

Also, we can't order non-limited edition issues yet?   Any estimate on what the price for those will be?

Sorry about that. That is a limitation of the gear.mycelium.com checkout tool. When you order I will refund you the extra $6. Just send me a pm as a reminder after checking out.

In regards to non-limited edition medallions: We can certainly do that but the price becomes an issue although I think we could make it work at about $7 per medallion or $5 per medallion when ordered in quantities of 10 or more. A set would be double that amount. Do you think people would have an interest at those prices?

I like the idea of having a display coin that corresponds to the actual physical wallet. Definitely a nice touch there.
I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the finished product.
Do you have any pictures of the non-branded holograms? What size is the area that holds the private key?
Thanks

Thanks! Yes, I liked the idea of having something to carry around as a conversation piece without worrying about it getting swiped with all your cold storage bitcoins inside. I also wanted to maximize the real estate on the reverse side of the coin so I could create new and unique designs. Now we can have the best of both worlds by having 2 medallions in a set.

The hologram label is .95" and the space on the coin is slightly larger. I will get actual photos of the medallions posted in about 2 weeks™ when they arrive (sorry for the bad pun  Tongue).

Here is an image of the non-branded hologram. In the future, if we do funded/unfunded medallions, we will have a branded hologram to differentiate between them.

EDIT: One could also use clear labels available online for their DIY medallions so they could display the bitcoin address as well.
