Coin has still connections and is staking ... the question is of course what's a stake worth without an exchange. Um, probably like ... nothing.

Some of the new exchanges might actually list it if being asked. Coinsmarkets listed more or less everything free ... but it's gone at least for the time being and maybe for ever.

Just wanna make a quick note, that I would be extremely cautious here. A UK coin was made last month, looked very good with very similar specs. The dev even asked for beta testers and so on, and then he ran away after 2 weeks, the chain is stuck and a lot of people have losses. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/uk-coin-update-to-ver-2-x13-powpos-hybrid-viable-replacement-coin-uk-2156309

A lot of things looking quite the same in this thread:
Both have a newbie user with dev at the end.
Structure of the topic.
Linking imgur files.
Wallet from mega.nz
and, of course, both UK-ish coins

I wish the coin best of luck, just wanna give everybody a hats up. If I am wrong, I am very sorry dev.

I really sorry for who are stuck with this coin, I had the same problem with ukc. It seems this dev repeats this all the time and cashes in the premine. I would be very careful in the future if somebody makes another attempt with the same kind of "style".

This should be good coin but dev disappear - last visit October 20!
Non of the pools from OP have LONDON coin any more.
Where to mine?
Where those promising soon exchanges?
Whats the plan if there is any and finally where is dev  Huh
Wallet is staking fine with 10 active connection but whats the point to keep it online if coin is abandoned without future...

This video is really well done Wink

yes, no pools anymore because pow end

That make sense but dev should visit this tread and give some statement, isn't it?
Yes it is true.
it is not good at all.
I hope dev will be back or someone would take it over.

What does London coin have to do with London, the capital of Great Britain? Are there many merchants in London that accept London coin? Is it backed by the British empire?

Hello All,

We've added several extra bounties. Also we have added our pre-order. From this moment on you can order London Coins / 600 Sat. PM us when interested.

We want to get listed at the following exchanges:
Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Novaexchange, Mercatox

Think seriously about the suggestion that you increase the bounties to 3500 coins, not 350.  There is 14 BILLION supply.  There must be enough incentive to invest time in bounties.  Just my 2 cents.

How to stake?  My wallet says "not staking".

add to london.conf
staking=1

Your coins need 180 confirmations before staking is activated

over 180 confirmations and staking=1 added still not staking.... Huh

Something smells fishy. Please be aware before downloading the wallet. Some wallets also have back doors.

This wallet has one alert, but it is a false positive from Ikarus that you will get with a lot of wallets:

I'm extremely wary of this coin.

For those that don't know, the way previous scams have worked in this type of coin (new dev with no history on here, claims regional coin but obviously doesn't speak the language of that place fluently, massive cap, high difficulty etc) are that the dev gets you to buy as many as possible upfront. Then they get onto an exchange or two and keep dumping as many as possible, whilst stringing users along with promises of website, whitepaper etc.

By the time the coin stops working (UKCoin was due to difficulty becoming too great) they have sold loads of essentially free coins to unsuspecting users and they then vanish, ready to start up another con using the same system.

This does smell exactly the same to be honest so if you value your funds consider finding a better project.

Exactly, I wrote a comparison on the first page. There are a lot of red flags.

While the high PoS makes it quite interesting, the main concerns here are the unknown developer ("newbie"), the lack of reasonable bounties (come on 350 coins when you have a premine of 4.5 Mio) and most importantly the answer to the question: where do you get this coin? Exchange listing?  Cheesy

Agreed, there is promise but more information is needed.

Hello Sir,

First we have our pre-order period this will take about 1 month. In this period all early investors can start staking and growing their coins. During this period we will also do all marketing to grow the exposure of the coin. Then we are going to get the coins listed on multiple exchanges whereafter the real trading will take place.

Price:  600 sat /  London coin.

Everyone interested in our Pre-order can PM us

I think this is the second coin that I have heard, after NYC that has a cryptocurrency named after a city. And a world city at that, with a long history and booming economy. Possible wave of the future.

After famous and infamous politicians, perhaps we'll see now a wave of new city coins being launched ...  Grin

My wallet says "not staking".

add to london.conf
staking=1

Your coins need 180 confirmations before staking is activated

Hey the premine for once is actually not bad at all. What do you plan to use for premine on and how? Is that a plan that could be shared with the community here?

is the 14 billion coins max supply being met fully through mining or is there a cap on mining and then PoS kicks in. Or is this a hybrid coin where PoW and PoS is active at the same time?

What is the purpose of the creation of this coin. Will it be used somehow in London or what it actually has significance expect its name. This high PoS will not somehow lead to larger inflation which will make the market high volatile with such large supply? May be I am missing some part to get this well.

the staking rewards really attract people around here to read about the project but i think its needed to think twice before allowing yourself to support
such type of project i dont think investors will buy this after it will be added inside the exchange maybe its much better to hold this coin inside your wallet
and allow it to stake from time to time.

If I am wrong, I am very sorry dev.

so small pre-mine.
i want to mine it.
if you want to mine it, just do as the proof of work blocks are few and it will go proof of stake,
you have 14B coins in total supply but only give 350 for bounty task, do you calculate something wrong? why not be more generous

Yes I was kind of wondering about that as my next question
could be because of a small premine from which the bounty will be subtracted,

The city of London is a city that contains the historic centre and central business district of London. Therefore it's a great place to spend, but more important, to gain money. With the London currency you can stake up to 707% arp. London will be the first, after the Brexit, staking coin with a high and fair staking rate.
