why wont mtgox allow the keys they sell work on other websites? seems pretty silly to me.. but nice of them to give out a few free one for high volume traders.

Nice "security", but why does someone with volume under 2000 btc and a deposit of under 100 btc get a yubikey for free and people with almost 25k vol and 1000 btc get no yubikey for free, even though the account was in the leaked user list from 2011. Mmmmhh, a point which annoys me when you on top announce: 1500 yubikeys sent worldwide.

Because free keys were only given to those that got trades reversed during the hack, not just anyone on the list. thank you mountain
