Indeed, you are looking at the first investors of GMT during the Pre-Sale.
In fact, our Pre-Sale initially started in August.  And even though we had a lot of interested investors on our side already, we also had some requests to let our community take part in our journey of the application of the GMT Network into the "real world". Therefore, we decided to postpone the initial Pre-Sale in accordance with our investors, in order to test the GMT concept at that time practically in our target markets (such as Africa -> See ambassador video "Guinea-Bissau"). This was based upon the fact that our community should have had an insight in our work and also our idea of the practical application of our network.
Now that the setup for the field tests in our target markets is done, we are still conducting research, but at the same time are also able to be accustomed with the Pre-Sale and our potential new investors.
It is important to note that the shortened Pre-Sale in August had the exact same kind of conditions as the official Pre-Sale now. :-)

Overview
GMT Network is currently running its Pre-ICO, ending on November 30, 2017. We issued our GMT tokens based on the Ethereum Blockchain. GMT Network will use the funds raised to establish a global money transfer platform with local fiat exchanges and transfer stations (In-Store).

Moreover, we aim to change the money transfer business by removing all sorts of barriers of archaic companies, such as doing endless paperwork, the need to come to a branch or having the fear of your funds being in someone else's control using. The platform will initially focus on the South-American and African market, while our vision is to create a global ecosystem. Furthermore, you can also join our slack to receive important updates.

Why Cryptocurrency?
Traditional methods of transferring money using archaic companies incur relatively high transactional costs (often ranging up to 14%) due to transfer services having to address counterparty risk/settlement and clearing costs. Using Cryptocurrencies significantly reduces these costs and also speeds up the transfer.

Why should you own GMT tokens?
At GMT, we aim to let our investors and community profit from their trust in GMT: Therefore, 85% of the Fees paid on ALL GMT transactions will directly be paid to our Token holders. This enables all our Token holders to have an income without relying solely on the growth of the Network itself.

Pre-ICO & ICO
10,000,000 GMT Tokens will be available in the PreICO, leaving 140,000,000 GMT. 40% of the remaining tokens, 56,000,000 GMT, will be offered in the ICO. 55%, 77,000,000 GMT will be secured for our Ambassador program and further development and marketing costs. The remaining 5% will be splitted between each for the initial co-founders and each of the first 3 employees.

Pre-ICO GMT/BTC exchange rate: 1 GMT = 0.000012 BTC

The idea of the Pre-ICO is also to reward our first time investors with a lower and therefore better entry price for the GMT Token.
The estimated GMT/BTC Exchange rate during the ICO is set at 1 GMT = 0.00012 BTC, which is therefore obviously higher than the initial Pre-ICO rate.

The PreICO funds will be used for ICO and Ambassador program preparation, marketing and legal fees.
