Vistaprint Acquires Webs for $117 Million

Webs was acquired by Vistaprint in 2011 for $117 Million in cash and stock so it's now a Vistaprint Co. Webs had earlier acquired Facebook Pages creator PageModo and lightweight CRM tool ContactMe. We now generate over $1 Billion in yearly revenue, oversee over 7000 employees and about 20 million customers.

Trynka oversees a company that has over 7,000 employees globally, over $1 billion in revenue, and about 20 million customers. She holds an MBA, Finance & Marketing from Columbia Business School and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University.

Mr. Haroon Mokhtarzada co-founded Webs, Inc. 2001 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mokhtarzada serves as Vice President, Digital Innovation at Vistaprint. He also serves as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Mr. Mokhtarzada is also an Advisor of Infusd, Inc. and LaunchBox Digital. He holds JD from Harvard Law School. He studied undergraduate degrees at the University of Maryland.

Zeki Mokhtarzada
Chief Technology Advisor

Zeki Mokhtarzada is a technology innovator. At the height of the dot-com era in 1999, Zeki helped create the world’s first web-based operating system. The next year, Zeki and his brothers founded FreeWebs, a platform that offers digital marketing products to small businesses. He served as engineer, architect, and CTO overseeing all of the technology for the site, which eventually grew to serve tens of millions of visitors each month.

FreeWebs (later called Webs) was acquired by Vistaprint in 2011 and Zeki served as Lead Architect and Engineering Manager of Digital Products. Zeki is a co-founder of Truebill, a subscription management tool that helps consumers discover and cancel unwanted subscriptions. Zeki is also an advisor and investor to several early stage technology companies.

Zeki has publications in numerous scientific journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in the field of computational neuroanatomy relating to the application of genetic algorithms and other AI techniques to the field of neuroscience.
