Some major changes to the coin are coming out soon, this is why there is a delay on the MacOS Wallet. It's something we hope to release in the very near future.
Temporary fix would be to run the EXE file through wine until we can compile on OSX.

The official word has been given on the discord channel, Zach the creator is working on changing the algorithm to asic resistant. Everyone in the community feels this is a positive change from the dreaded scrypt. We are still looking for developers for this grass roots project, along with new members to help. Things have slowed down a bit, but the Pricecoin team keeps moving forward. We have now realized the destruction Asic mining has done to our coin, and hope to welcome fair mining.

Was just looking at the block explorer, and I can't believe it! Pricecoin is near halving again. Get your miners roared up because in the next 24 hours our mining rewards are dropping from 1.25 PRCN to .626 PRCN. I want to thank everyone in our community for all their efforts. New algo is being discussed to ward off those big ASIC miners. I believe this is the next big coin for 2018.
To be honest Zach Price, hence the name Pricecoin has dedicated months on building this coin. The following is growing by day. There is no fake name behind it, nor a ill concept of making false promises. This is a true grass roots project. He has realized that a ASIC mined coins face a tough battle. His team is working on making Pricecoin ASIC resistant. Like all early stages of coins, we are constantly working on ideas, and especially ideas from the community. I will keep saying it, when was the last coin you invested in, or time spent wondering who was behind the project. No secrets or false promises of a huge casino, or any other fluff that is posted daily.

From my conversations with the team members, they are working on more exchanges. It can be difficult for a new coin to get accepted to new exchanges, but they are working hard to make it happen. Many large exchanges want huge fees to get listed. Do you have any ideas, or exchanges in mind? We love input from the community, if not already, join us in the discord.

The project is genuine, most are scam coins. The creators are not hiding behind fake names. Grass root projects take more time, are not pump and dumps.

Yes the coin is more homegrown. Give it a chance they just graduated from high school last week, and are looking to take the coin to the next level. They are actively seeking developers.

Introduction
First a little background. I'm 17 and have been involved in cryptocurrency for quite some time. Over this previous winter break, my cousin and I visited a crypto investment group in Florida. We learned a lot of information about market caps and block rewards. We really wanted to challenge ourselves. That same evening is when we started the Pricecoin Project. It took us several months to figure out all the various steps of creating altcoins. I think I got around 15 hours of sleep one week because of the vast amount of research I was doing. We ended up starting with the Litecoin source code. It's by far one of the easiest cryptocurrencies to understand and follow. We changed it to match our one desired outcome. Right now, many would perceive this as another shitcoin litecoin fork. My goal is to continue developing this coin into something special, I want it to be different. I've already received huge amounts of support and really appreciate anything you all have to say. I mentioned it on Reddit about a week ago, and we were able to setup a mining pool and block explorer the same day. We received a mention of our project on YouTube and had accumulated quite a lot of hashing power. I am currently on track to graduate this May and attend Arizona State University in the fall for Computer Science. Pricecoin
