We have on-site JS code to generate barcodes. This project is currently halted, and will be revived If people report some issues, why it does not work / etc /etc.

I have already on-site the JS code that creates image- based payment barcodes.
I will think about the drag and drop feature, as well as the feature that makes barcodes via an API

You don't necessarily need app support. It's supported by the OS (under android at least). I think you just need to convert to a bitcoin:... URL and tell the OS to handle it. That works with the QR reader I use (though Mycelium has it built in also).

You might also want to talk to the ZXing people, I believe their code is used as a library by several of the apps. That is where you would find the support.

Yes, javascript thing to create code without downloading or adding anything to the site might be the ultimate solution.

Yep, we suffer from a chicken and egg problem, similar to "what block is before of genesis block" Cheesy

We don't have wallet app support, and it isn't heavily used because there is no app support.
What's worse the code only works on flat surfaces, so no textile or paper uses.

You are right, to kick-start the use on webpages, we need to make the font really really easy to use, for even a newbie web/php developer.

The easy-to-copy magic using the fullwidth characters trick is not easily picked up by developers..

We use fullwidth characters with added finders. compare to normal ascii:

But this requires the web developer to add the finders(▣), and transform the letters. Creating a hosted service could pose a security issue, but creating a java-script for this purpose may be doable.

On the other hand, adding the ASCII characters back to the font in 0.0.3 might prove to be the ultimate solution, but this breaks the easy-to-copy magic.

The app demo simply shows CORRECT upon successful scan. The app has potential to become "address book", if somebody adds this feature.

The app serves as an example for bitcoin / dogecoin / any coin developer to copy this feature to their own actual payment app.

The open source will be released any hour now.

Why text oriented code? QR code works perfectly??

Yes qr code is very robust but digital coin addresses already contain error checking.
Unleash web developer productivity:

Simply make code of BTC address (even short).

Now, you should scan your code with the app.

Everything works fine, if it appears "CORRECT " in the app. On all my devices this works.

If this does not work there must be a serious problem , and for this very reason it is
much appreciated to send the photograph taken of a damaged or badly working code.
