I have a real serious issue with the title. You wrote "world’s first dice game". While, as far as I know there are many project they came before you. In the other hand and according to the who.is information your website was registered on 2018-02-12 (~2 years old) ad this can never be the first project.

A dice game that is on the block chain Network, not your regular dice game for real.
How does it work? What are the accepted cryptocurrency for gambling.
The block chain is open so for honesty it's going to be good.
But my curiosity lies in how it can work

Quanta lets people participate in the lottery without border restrictions or anything that has to do with their economic status. Good usage of blockchain!

Really impressed by the game thus far.

It surprises me that people here are just replying and don't even seem to try it.

When even the announcement topic text contains a lie it makes you think how reliable your site is going to be.
Did you even read the thread and the reply by Quoc?

What you suggest? They change title afterwards? That would make the reactions in the thread look weird. And how should they then call it? Seems to me this actually is the first real/fair dice game fully on the blockchain after reading their explanations and documentation.

Hehehe, kindly explain what you meant by the words first dice game! I hope you won't say it's a marketing technique because it weaks me to see everyone trying to say what they really are not

The message of Quoc (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51801458) clearly explains the reasoning behind it.

Which should not have been the case, we need new innovations, we need value for our money.. W can't be seeing the same thing over and over again, all the same I expect Quanta to improve

This reply makes zero sense to me. It be the same as saying cryptocurrency is not innovative, its only another form of payment.

Quanta apparently made a dice game that is more in the spirit of crypto. Lets hope others follow their lead.

Also, my McAfee siteadvisor noticed me that this might be a risky site to visit.

It thinks other dice sites are not?

haha , it means risky as in not safe to visit
not risky because you could lose money gambling there
I would not be too concerned about antivirus false positives though , but if it does flag you , write them a letter and ask to recheck the site and remove it from the database
and to curr3ncytrader , if you want to check the site online you can go to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url and paste the name
p.s.  did it for you and it returns no threats , as expected https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/052a1b8dead72294be2f3107d3c03cc8a5ec10a696af20d3f7ae66dc56141f8b/detection

It's really nice to see a new dice site.
I was really amazed to see the way you guys mentioned  about the fairness of the site.
Would have appreciated more, if you have provided more information about the site.
Moreover as the competition is high now, so the only thing that can help you to get decent amount of real users is promotions.
Hope you get more success in the near future.
Good luck.
I agree with you that proof of fairness is almost mandatory (though, technically it isn't) for these dice sites, promotions is the next strategy. Marketing and its importance can't be stressed enough. And although you said you had <8000 bets which is a good starting number, this number needs to go up many folds and to do that you'll need a good marketing strategy in place

What if someone wins the whole jackpot?

We will refill it.

If someone won the whole jackpot, how is the process of refilling it? Like you have said.

We will add to the jackpot e.g. by making a losing bet.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Nice features you have.

Correct me if I am wrong, this is totally decentralized and you do not hold gamblers funds?
Is this a decentralized app (Dapp) on a Blockchain or is the blockchain made solely for gambling?

What if someone wins the whole jackpot?
Well, he/she is very lucky winning the whole jackpot but if there are two more winners then both of them will share the jackpot 50/50 for both if there are two winners. I think It can be different if when someone wins the jackpot but you will only get a percentage of the jackpot then it's not the whole jackpot that you can win.

Another dice site introduced in gambling industry hoping for your success because theres a lot of dice site that you can found in this forum most of them run for so many years. That why you need a good promotion in your project if you want to attract more player unique design plus marketing is your no. one way to find new player because playing in any gambling site is risky.

Hi, I'm Quoc, CEO/CTO of QUANTA.  Thank you for all the responses. I want to address everybody's questions in detail.

The biggest distinction of "CryptoDice"  vs  "Fully on blockchain"  vs QUANTA DICE

CryptoDice:
- Dice rolls are using cryptocurrencies through centralized wallets and centralized settlement.
- Primedice, Cyberdice, and alike uses centralized server to generate HMACSHA512 using 2 keys, the client seed (user can regenerate this) and the server seed (controlled by the provider).
- Fails statistical tests for randomness (we tested!)

Fully on Blockchain:
- EOSBet  - I went through the code - it uses an oraclize service to generate the random number.   (See more at https://medium.com/oraclize/launching-the-oraclize-service-on-eos-58ea1a40e3f3)

Quote
However, if we feel that oraclize is cheating (will be easily detectable), then we can just toggle off REFUNDSACTIVE. We would like to keep them on, of course, so that our players have a better experience.  --- EOSBET Github page - https://github.com/EOSBetCasino/EOSBet-EthereumGamblingContracts

- TronAce/TronBet - very little information - Most smart contracts implementation have to use oracles to generate random number.
- Current transactions hash is not known until mining time, so it can not be used.  More

Quanta Dice:

- We can modify the lowest layer of the blockchain to include an AES RNG and add an additional block processing 1 block after the dice roll to get entropy of the seed.
- The code 100% on the blockchain, NO oracle (or third party)!
- Dice game can interact with BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH, and all ERC20 via our crosschain.
- Most importantly of all - it passes all statistical tests - dieharder - see results

Why randomness is important?

- All computer generated random number are pseudo in nature and grabs entropy such as time.   So they are as random as the entropy itself. This is a problem for HMACSHA512. One mathematician says, the random number from a PRNG cannot be more random than the seed itself.
- True randomness does not have any predictable distributions.  Attackers can not look for patterns and changes of distribution.
- Without true randomness, it's not a game of pure chance. Outcomes are biased.

Fees

Feedback well noted. We're planning to reduce fees in the coming weeks.

Thank you for all the comments, and keep them coming.

What is the fastest way to try this out?

  • Goto dice.qdex.me and create a wallet
  • Connect with the wallet you just created
  • Now you have 2 options to get some balance:
    • On the top right select a coin in the dropdown box and below it there is an option to deposit
    • Press the 4 squares next to the logo on the top left, go to QuantaDEX, select ‘wallets’ in the menu on the top right, then select buy BTC with credit card.

Happy rolling

Why are you saying that it's the world's first one? There are so many dice websites that accept cryptos, and some of them have been around for years, and thus had time to gain a great reputation (like Primedice or Bustadice, for example). You're saying that your casino works fully on the blockchain, but if by that you mean that you only accept payments in cryptos, and it's possible to see that the game is fair (provably fair), then you are far from being the first. If you mean something else, please explain what makes your website unique or delete this thing about being 'first'.
Oh, and 3% house edge plus a platform fee in tokens - I believe it's too much. Most of the popular websites have 1% house edge these days.
Good luck!

what the OP meant that they were the first dice site fully on blockchain
which is totally untrue Smiley but there haven't been too many decent ones as of now , hope this one is good
always wondered why people would gamble on blockchain based sites , they have nothing going for them , just that they are provably fair
but so are all the other dice sites ( well the vast majority of them )
The house holds 3% edge on winnings which contributes to the  jackpot - but this makes the site an outsider for me
why should I gamble on a site with a 3% house edge when there are dozens of the 1% edge ones with faster roll resolution to  boot
but never mind me , I'm just not a fan of blockchain based games
the site itself looks good and there is even a risky soul that is betting on it as we speak Smiley

Worlds first dice game fully on blockchain? Well thats a little bit misleading. If you do try to look out of the box you would realize on how tough the competition would be in terms of Dice game market
It's a crowded market indeed and not our main focus; this is another project that shows where our blockchain excels. We prefer to focus on delivering and building. If you have any alternatives that also pass the randomness test, of which the code is available and where the results can be checked and monitored please do state them here since we support decentralization, openness and fairness so prefer users to find their way to fair and open gaming, even if not on our site/chain.

also since this is a moderated thread you shouldnt delete out criticisms that you might possibly heard off and also you should consider on adding up BTC rather than solely focusing on QUANTA.
Positive and polite criticism is always welcome and will not be moderated or censored.

Of course initially most users have played QDEX since that is not available on other dice games and our initial users are relative big QDEX holders. We will add to the BTC jackpot if that is required for users to play it properly. Keep the feedback coming and happy rolling!

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
I think this is a good dex movement participant and I hope these kinds of stuff happens in the future but I would like to tell you that the first fully on blockchain games literally the first dice game ever, satoshidice back in the day was literally on blockchain and fully decentralized as well because the results were decided according to hash of bitcoin at the time and then you would automatically get paid or not depending on the result, it was literally like this but for bitcoin (back when bitcoin transactions were super fast).

There are dapps nowadays that does this as well with eosbet the only one I can remember right now but some others on tron as well, so this is really not the first dice game fully on blockchain, maybe it is the first of something but its not fully on blockchain.

The game uses the wallet also used by the exchange so the same conditions apply:
https://quantadex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028712391-Fees-Structure

So the delay you will experience are the blockchain wait times. Since you can play with multiple coins you can select the coins that have fast confirmations if that is important to you.

Happy rolling.
I'm fine with what you have said but my point is it would be better that you provide more information about the your site like limlims post. I think you should provide more information about your site to make people know more about your site. It's more like introducing yourself (in this case it's your site) to everyone about your site.

You're welcome.

All code is available on our github page and all results are visible on the blockchain explorer (or raw API) so you can check and verify the results.

We are not a gaming company so our focus is on the openness and fairness of the blockchain aspects of the dice game.

Introducing…

Overview

Quanta, the team that brought QuantaDEX (1 sec fully on chain DEX), launches the world's first dice game fully on the blockchain, providing enormous benefits over traditional dice games implementations.

The Quanta blockchain brings unprecedented trust, fairness, and prove-ability to the dice game. It is built on the same Quanta blockchain and Quanta wallet previously launched for QuantaDEX, capable of supporting multiple assets via a cross-chain technology.

Built onto the blockchain, the dice is powered by an AES (Advanced Encryption System) Random Number Generator with a pseudo SHA transaction seed for proveability.  It is the only known crypto dice game to pass industry tests for statistical randomness - dieharder battery of tests. (See Report)

UPDATE (7/11/2019): Over 8500 Dice rolls have been made in the last 48 hours!

Blockchain Security & Fairness

Trust - QUANTA Dice is a set of smart contract on the QUANTA blockchain maintained by a global network of block producers to ensure assets are secured within your QUANTA Wallet -- only unlockable by your private key.

Fairness - Dice outcomes are computed on the blockchain using our innovative N+1 distributed AES randomness function, which is computed from the unique signature of your roll's transaction seed and chain id.

Prove-able - Every roll can be proven by recomputing manually with the transaction seed, and chain id, to produce the same outcome as the blockchain.

Fees

The house holds 3% edge on winnings which contributes to the jackpot, and a 0.01 QDEX platform fee.

Starting Jackpot

Winnings and losses goes to a locked committee-controlled blockchain wallet.  Quanta seeded the jackpot with 0.25 BTC, 10 ETH, and 150,000 QDEX, valuing up to $40,000 for the taking.

Easy to Get Started

Connect with your existing wallet (or create a new one), roll your dice, and collect your winnings!
