And your tech is not really unique, ALL TOKENS/COINS in the market today can be used a utility for remittance. so there's no point in using your token just to send money for someone on other side of the globe.

Hi Pinoycash, yes maybe you are right and our tech is not unique, but we think that it does not have to be unique only; it has to be used also.
Actually my girlfriend is from the Philippines (Cebu City) and in my country is a huge Filipino community that we are in contact with. Also the surrounding countries have large Filipino communities, but also large communities from many other countries. And almost all families that we know are sending money home to the Philippines through Western Union offices or sometimes other offices like Moneygram. The fees for sending money home are easily 10 USD to 20 USD or more, and it can take up to 3 days for the money to arrive or to be picked up, depending on the service.

So we think there are still many opportunities in the market for remittances, making the money transfers faster, cheaper and making sure people use this service. It could be a win for all if you could send more money home, at least, that is what we believe. But this is still the first Phase of our Remittance.finance project and we believe it can grow into something great.

Oh really? I guess you did it yourself, but anyway, you have lost the confidence of many people for this act, even if it was done by someone you hired.

Hi Mandor, we feel sorry for what happened, but in the 2 weeks that we went live with the deployment of the smart contracts on the Etherium network, we were also busy with writing articles for Medium, creating a community in Telegram, Discord, creating a Discord Invite Challenge, starting and finalizing the Presale for our REMIT token, applying to get listed on Ranking websites like Coingecko and Coinpaprika and applying to get listed on exchanges. For us this is all new since this is our first cryptoproject and token, so it took a lot of time and it was like inventing the wheel again. We wrote all chapters for our Whitepaper ourselves, except the one chapter that required some research with the numbers for remittances worldwide.

We thought at that moment that it was better to hire an "expert" for this chapter, due to to the lack of time we had ourselves to do proper research and the many other jobs we had to do for the project. Well, we know now what happened and trusting this person and not double checking it has led to this situation. Again, we are sorry for what happened and even more frustrated that this has happened to our project, trust me. But we have adjusted our Whitepaper and corrected what needed corrections. Please check it, and if it needs more adjustments, please let us know. We are always open for feedback! Hope we can move forward now. Cheers!

We are shocked to see that it's copy + paste and we will rewrite the parts directly.

Anyway, thank you for pointing out our Whitepaper! We hope you stick around to see the adjusted version!

Your project has been damaged, it's like waking someone up to increase alertness. too bad for you, even though you have rewritten it with your own hands. After all, since ICOs have appeared, copy-pasting whitepapers have often happened in crypto projects.

Too bad, You already have a rough start. You been caught with plagiarized content and that kills your project in an instant.

Hi everyone, our Whitepaper has been adjusted. I also posted this message in the other topic about our Whitepaper:

Good day everyone,

Sorry for the wait, but it took us a while to rewrite the Whitepaper and find all necessary sources that have been used for our Whitepaper.
We also added all links in Chapter 7 Links and resources.

Hi guys, thank you so much for pointing out the plagiarized parts of our Whitepaper. We truly had no idea!
Fact is that we had hired someone to do the research for the numbers in remittances worldwide and we thought he wrote his own parts for our Whitepaper, together with the numbers given by the World Bank.
We are shocked to see that it's copy + paste and we will rewrite the parts directly.

We are sad to read that we directly got the label scammers by some members here, but we understand the situation. We are long enough in crypto to see the warnings and got burned by many scam projects before; Bitpetite (2017) and some other .finance projects last year.
We are sorry that our Whitepaper was a warning for you too. Our apologies, but we will re-write it and correct the mistake.

- Short message about us:
Actually, after the many burns with scam projects last year (autumn 2020) this was our idea to do it differently; start a honest project which would NOT do a rug pull. We both have girlfriends in Asia and we were both frustrated by the long transfer times (up to 3 days) and high costs for transfering money abroad. Sending 1000 euro and paying 50 euro transfer fees (Hi Western Union!) which is rediculous. So this is where our idea came from, start a service in sending fast and affordable remittances over the blockchain.

We both also love DeFi and the idea of earning some extra tokens by staking and farming them. Therefore we also added DeFi options to our project. Giving our users the opportunity to earn some extra REMIT tokens, although our APY is not 10.000% like in other projects. We simply don't have enough tokens for that and those yields only attracts whales. So we offer DeFi, but with reasonable earnings.

Our plan was also to reveal our identities from the start, but unfortunately our country does not allow us to do that in this phase. We hope we can definitely do this in the future. Especially since we want to set up a remittance service where people can transfer also between fiat and crypto, revealing ourselves will happen eventually.

Anyway, thank you for pointing out our Whitepaper! We hope you stick around to see the adjusted version!

Trying to fool people with copy content from others, really bad start. It's selfish of him to think it will be so easy to deceive the community.

I don't think he will come out and respond about the accusation, the first thing that crossed my mind was that he didn't want to do much thing to get money from investors.

There is a topic in the "Scam Accusations" section that says that you plagiarized most of the content of your whitepaper from other sources.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/remittancefinance-a-lot-of-copied-material-without-providing-links-to-sources-5344849

What's your justification for such actions? Can't you write your own content?

Remittance.finance - REMIT token
Every year people send 700 billion dollars (USD 700.000.000.000,-) in remittances to family,
friends and relatives in their home countries. But the fees for these remittances are high and
transfers are slow. Besides, the market for remittances is dominated by a few big players like
Western Union, Moneygram and Transferwise, earning them billions of dollars in transfer fees from these remittances.

Welcome to Remittance.finance where we build a platform for CHEAP, FAST, RELIABLE & TRANSPARENT remittances over the blockchain.

What is REMIT?
REMIT is an ERC20 token with a maximum supply of 5.00.000 tokens.
It is expected that all 5.000.000 REMIT tokens will be in circulation in 5 years
(1.000.000 REMIT tokens per year).

Besides REMIT on the ETH chain, 5.000.000 tokens on the BSC
and 5.000.000 tokens on the Polkadot chain will also be launched
to offer faster and cheaper transactions.
The total amount of REMIT will be 15.000.000 tokens before moving to our own blockchain.

What can I do with REMIT?
REMIT will be used on the Remittance.finance platform to send fast and
affordable remittances over the blockchain. Remittance.finance also offers
Yield Staking and Yield Farming and the REMIT token can be locked to create a yield over time.

Where to buy REMIT?
REMIT just came available on Uniswap and will be available soon on other exchanges.

Please read the Whitepaper for all information about Remittance.finance.
