Ok, so again about the website, we do have our own domain, the only difference between the upgraded version of wix and the one that we have now is that there wouldn't be that top ad banner, but mind you, many other sites and your posts on this forum also have ad banners, this does not make any difference to the information we want to provide, and we're not going to spend our budget on unnecessary stuff, period.

About the pictures, the next meeting I'll propose that we put up real pics of everybody, although a group pic would be difficult since we rarely all meet together IRL as we live in different regions, asia, eastern europe and the middle east. And another post made by bitbollo about supposed fake names is again nonsense, since we do use our real names, how would he know... Only Mehdi just helped us out once and isn't really part of the group.

This kind project should be greatly avoided and the same reason why you don't just launch a cryptocurrency project if you don't have the money or the capacity to pay for product development.

Using Wix to create your website is just another dumb move and a lazy way to present your project.

No. there are also other differences between a free wix site and another one. "unnecessary stuff"
Have a decent site (even customizable) is not "unnecessary stuff". Otherwise is a way to show how lazy you are.

Ok real names - Fake Photos. Another fantastic credit for your work.

No one has been already verified by third part.

No mention about copy/paste whitepaper, fake code of R...

Did you have nothing better than try to lunch some stupid scam like this?

NO THIS IS NOT A SCAM!

Only the first reply in this topic from dzkrb asks a real question about our project, the rest is just about the fact that we haven't upgraded our wix site and that indeed our profile pictures are just illustrative, I've read many white papers that either don't include any profile pics or that heavily photoshop their pictures.

You guys seem to be too focused, not to say paranoid, about possible scams, well I'm aware that there are scams out there, but we seriously have the intention on trading our funds into profit as laid out, I can guarantee you, trust me!! How do you guys know anything about this.

And in all trading or programming code many parts of code of course reoccur yes, so taking a couple lines and then saying that it's copied from somewhere else is just nonsense, it's just a snippet.

Seriously, please ask some questions about our project, not about how we and our website look, are you guys really that superficial? Stop insulting us

quoted for reference.

1) you haven't a decent domain for your site. this is a sign of missing interest in your project, even lack of funds (but anyone could afford a domain, just few bucks).
2) Picture just illustrative! Are you kidding? Why I should trust some one with a fake name and also a fake photo?
Why stole the image of another people? it's childish, useless, otherwise called a SCAM!
3) If you're talking about another scam wp yes it.s true, but otherwise could you please show up
"many white papers that either don't include any profile pics or that heavily photoshop their pictures."
4) we are not paranoid. just stating if a project is a scam. I think there are some many evidence that you have just proposed a stupid scam.
5) Could you please explain what did you mean with "many parts of code of course reoccur?"
You just take some parts of others script mixing together. (PS I am able to use R. you should know it. before continue to post these stupid scams.)
6) it's a snippet of what? you copied random code, and too lazy also to update a bit or made a minimal chage !
7) are you sure people here are so stupid? What we should ask? Where you see "insulting"?
- fake photo = yes
- fake names = yes
- fake code / fake white paper = yes
I don't know, but if you want receive my appreciation yes your paper and your work totally useless and one of the worst scam attempt of the last couple of years.

I doubt they will ever go that far for this project.
Buying your own domain is really an important one to signify the sincere interest of the team.
Considering that it requires only few bucks to do that. Why use a free domain?
And when you catch someone using fake photo, they respond to it as illustrative?
That's really funny though. And request to ask questions specific to their project?
Actually, those are basic questions to begin with. The vital foundation to identify a legit project.

Hi,

Upon checking the website and the team behind the project, I saw that one of your team members is allegedly fake. Not to mention, you are hosting your website in a free-domain provider which makes everything doubtful and confusing.

Please refer to this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rquanton-allegedly-fake-member-5143699

Hi guys please be aware that Peter Liu on their website right now has a fake photo as described here:

@qwertyup23 I have edited my post since both have posted same information in same time.
Anyway great catch! +1 Merit!

Thank you very much! I saw your post regarding the team and I would like to ask permission if I can include it on my post (quoting your text from there)? Anyway, combined with all the information we gathered we can conclude that this project has an extreme potential of being a scam. Better tag the guy!

Yes of course qwertyup23.
I think that some thing can help other people doesn't require any permission Smiley
In any case, their wp is just a copy paste of information taken from other sites. Please add also this information regarding WP.

Yes, I'm an asshole
We started with the Binance API, but eventually found the Coinbase Pro one more suitable, backtesting results of one of our algorithms can be found on rquanton.com

You use wix to build your official site? And it's the free version ones, judging from wix's banner that stick to your top page. How's this a profitable project, again? You seems going cheap for scamming. Ok, let's drop the domain for a while, let's talk about the content. Your graphic is very sad, your description is an epitome of laziness, and your team are basically un-tracable and in-verificable.

Well all I can say is that we are a small team of programmers and analysts, not graphic designers, web developers or marketeers, and personally I would rather have a decent project that isn't all that well marketed than one that is, but that lacks profitability.

We aren't putting that much time and effort in the marketing or graphic design of our token campaign since we rather put time in our core product, which is also the reason why we have opted for the Waves blockchain.

You are indeed right that we could update to the paid version of wix but I'm not sure that if this banner at the top of the site is removed that this will make a huge difference...

Regarding further information about our team, as it says everywhere: please do contact us!

Regarding detailed information about our used algo's, we can give you performance information, but of course no detailed implementation details, as we then might as well sell you our project... thanks for your comments, Peter.

Sounds like an excuse for an attempt of cheap scam, even an analyst that barely in touch with marketing division, 15-20 years of interaction with business world would give a good impression on how important marketing face is, especially when you asked for funds.

Talking about face... your Liu Peter looks incredibly young for someone with 20 years of experience. Is he an immortal or did he start his career extremely early? And oh talking about 20 years, it's rather unsettling how there were no article about him, especially given that he's either a very young analyst or a vampire analyst. Tell you what, how about giving us his linkedin profile, or links to prestigious article of his achievement within past 20 years?

The information on your website is rather so inadequate.
Not so much about the team either

What shows the Wang jin has been coding since he was 15?
What proves that Liu Peter is a technical analyst with more than 20 years of experience. I don't see any info about him anywhere... not even on Linkedin.

Introduction and mission
Quantitative analysis or the application of mathematical trading systems to financial data has been used for over a century. Automated trading started in the 1970's with the introduction of the DOT and accounts for approximately 75 percent of all trading volume in current financial markets. Trading away inefficiencies in a market is always a moving target as by trading these inefficiencies they tend to disappear. Automated trading removes the human emotional factor that causes irrational decision making in trading from the equation.

With R's many built in functions for technical analysis and with its accessible interface it is ideal for statistical modeling time series analysis and more importantly time series forecasting, necessary for implementing trading systems.

Our developers were previously specializing in trading high volatility small cap stocks on US and Asian exchanges based solely on technical (like Level II order book) and statistical analysis; a niche largely overlooked by institutional trading funds. Since crypto assets and exchanges are still in their developmental stage, chart patterns and order books resemble those of small cap equity stocks. On our website backtesting results of our most used algorithm can be found and shows that we can have a significant edge on the current market, although continual and further optimization is always a requirement.

Development Roadmap
- Q1 2019 Finished implementation and backtesting of current algorithms to fit cryptocurrency platforms instead of equities. [ACHIEVED]
- Q2 2019 Further optimization of algorithms.
- Q3 2019 Active trading on supporting platforms. Awaiting further capabilities of automated trading support on platforms.
- Q4 2019 Active trading on various platforms. Hiring of new developers and prospecting possible expansion.
