I really liked your website simple design and functionality. The only feature I'm missing from preev is the support for other currencies like BRL, which is my country's currency. Other than that, its looking good.  Wink
Thanks! I'll be adding more currencies soon!

I like this way better than preev. Very nice!

One thing that could be handy is a USD->BTC API with the appropriate headers to allow access by Javascript users, outside of your domain.

But this looks good as it is. Having an API may not be something you want to deal with at all.

I like the clean layout. The conversion options of bit and mBTC are also helpful, especially to beginners.

On Firefox, when switching between the four options, the input field is showing red warning shadow, which appears on invalid-valued input fields. You could add the following CSS code to overwrite that unexpected style:

Code:
#btc:invalid { box-shadow: none; }
Thanks for catching that, I've only ever used it in Safari and Chrome.

The site is indeed user friendly, easy to navigate. Your future updates listed above are good too. I guess the chart that can be zoom in and out is included, right? Suggestion above about choosing the exchanges is a good idea as well. I will use it like preev when converting or comparing Smiley

Edit: looking forward to see and try other fiat conversion.

I visited your website and i must confess that everything about it is very nice and professional, it also help some newbie to calculate and know the value of bitcoin in satoshi and other conversions rate but i would like to advise that you should add bitcoin prices from different exchangers or currencies because the graph though good but explain little to newbies especially if they want to know the eur, chn or jpy rates.

You may consider adding some ads space to the website to generate some funds.

Right now the price comes from a few different exchanges and is weighted by volume. I might add something in the future that allows users to choose which exchanges are included in the calculation. I also may add different fiat currencies. Thanks for the suggestions!

For the past year or so I've been working on https://satoshindex.com.

Features:
Daily graph of price
Easy to convert between satoshis, bits, mBTC, and BTC
Very mobile friendly and easy to use
Volume weighted price based on market data from several USD exchanges

Planned Features:
Change period of graph (hourly, weekly, monthly, three months etc)
Bitcoin network statistics
altcoins or other fiat currencies for conversion

Any suggestions or features you'd like to see added so you'd use it regularly?
