Scammers are actively trying to take your money. So I created a service that acts as a firewall between them and your pockets.

It's called CoinJudge.

We have just started and so our database is not as full as I would like it to be.

What we do is, we investigate Scammy ICOs/Exchanges/Coins and we come back with a verdict and reasoning as to why, we believe the entity in question is trying to scam you.

Our subreddit is /r/coinjudge and that is where we explain why we have given an ICO/Exchange their given verdict.

We have also just started out on twitter: https://twitter.com/Coinjudgeio

Website : Coinjudge.io

The technical goal of coinjudge is to have a real time database with an api that you can integrate into your applications.

The overall objective is to be a firewall between scammers and your hard earned money.

If we take twitter for example, whenever an address is tweeted out, twitter will check our database using the API and if the address has been flagged as suspicious, then users are quietly notified, maybe with a red highlighting.

Another use case, is with wallets. Once you enter an address into a wallet to send it off, the software checks whether you have been subjected to a man in the middle attack by checking the address against our database. A man in the middle attack is normally executed by replacing the address you copied from one place with their own address. You can also stop this by double checking each address you copy and paste.

At the moment, we do not have a lot of scam addresses in our database, and we are working on creating a way for you to automatically enter scam addresses. Reducing the blast radius of one address significantly.

Thanks for listening, I am the dev over there at coinjudge, I am trying to bring awareness to the project and the implications it could have for those that are taking advantage of the crypto community.
