Confirmed that coin in wallet, do in fact stake. Also, have confirmed the ability to GPU mining as well as CPU mining.

And I see there is more miners than only me. Anyway the pos is configured ok I have 1/3 of network weight icons says roughly two minutes to get reward but it takes longer than that

I have seen there is some timing issues as far as what it says for network weight. Bare in mind, it is early testing AND mining. So with there only being a few people. It will take time for things to pick up and everything to level out.

minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:PORT --userpass=RPCUSERNAME:RPCPASSWORD --user SETT_ADDRESS

In the original text file there was "-a x11" after minerd. That needed to be removed. After removing, you can check what is being mined via console. Heh that was my bad. I'm running on little sleep here, and have been looking at different projects, mining different new coins, and just yea. Still no excuse. Adjustments have been made, thank you!

Roll Eyes All the hate. If you don't like helping test, or you do not feel "comfortable" with the testing. No one told you you had to be here. Just saying.

Why using walletbuilders c'mon  Cheesy, also i've already tried a coin that was made by walletbuilders before, actually several times, and their wallets never had detection neither false positives, so if this walletbuilders have some detection, i doubt this is safe especially since the "dev" doesn't want to put the sourcecode available on github to public
Also when the guy posts the virustotal detection, he doesn't put the wallet directly into it but a .rar zipped file, that could be anything in there we don't know, but it'S surely not the wallets lol.
too many red flags here. I really hope people aren't dumb enough to download this and start it

He's already upfront with this project. He's running solo on this project and just testing the waters. So no high expectations to begin with. If people want a solid project to mine or invest with, better look around and not choose this one. The future of this is still not clear as the OP may stop this anytime.

And yes, walletbuilders has no good reputation in the forum. I remember, if your coin was created via walletbuilders, they ignored your project.

Wallets with no miner still have detection but seems false positive

This is walletbuilders work https://walletbuilders.com so it's safe at beginning unless it's been too modified to add a virus so always verify before starting wallet you dont have source code people be careful

As for me nice that someone want to make some new coin. But there is few questions :
1.When source will be open?
2. When we see White paper?
3.What is usecase for coin?

1. Currently TBD based on how things go (massive failure of course I'm not gonna show you Tongue)
2. Hopefully it shouldn't be TOO long. Again, being one person. I have to get a lot done and only have two hands lol.
3. Current usecase is testing the chain, testing transactions, testing PoS system, and overall stability. Aside from that, where
it will end up? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Tongue

Also If is testing now does that mean coins will vanish or they stay with miners ??

It's gonna be a no on the daemon only wallet.

As far as the coins, NO they WILL NOT vanish. They will stay with whoever has mined/traded/bought/sold/ect the coins.

give whole config file to put in wallet folder also minerd don't support x11 algo what a misery

for the bat file for the miner, take out the -a x11 from the start.bat file.

With the algorithm being x11 it is based off older algorithm, to help bring back some use to older x11 ASIC miners. Also, allowing for CPU mining. As far as gpu, I wasn't very successful on that front hah.

Also, on a side note. I am ABSOLUTELY FINE with it taking time to launch lol. As I stated before it is just me, so I can only do but so much at a time. Aside from that, at least I will be able to keep up with a slow launch too. At least then, I would see how the chain handles everything too lol. Hell for all I know, the chain could magically break and split off into wonderland.

I understand, may i suggest a few ideas.

If you make it open source now, you could activate the testnet only, and mention that the project isn't ready yet.

Even though you'd put it on mainnet (which you would not, since tesnet official announced is a better idea) you could still fork it to start over (but once again that's a bad idea in that case)

But the best would be, since you want to avoid mining pools, to edit the code directly to make it solo mining on the wallet directly. Such as:  asic resistant +  mining pools resistant

Because if you want to one day  launch it officially, you will have no other choices than giving the source code, or people might be too scared of mining it and so then the best way to avoid the pools like mentioned above is just to edit the code to make it resistant to it, instead of avoiding people of seeing the code.

Maybe i'm wrong and people will still mine it, but for the better situation and success of the project, it is for the best for having it open source.

Oh ok, it is for you too, i'd suggest thinking about it, a crypto project without open source code and with a lot of red flags on the virus detection, not letting people be able to compile the wallet themselves or to verify the code themselves too, it's no good for the project.

Only trying to help, no fud intented

No by all means. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As stated now that I have edited it. The miner was what was causing the flags. If you want to test the windows wallet without the miner, you will see that it is in fact clean.

At the current time, I just prefer not to have things open. That DOESN'T mean that they won't be. As stated, this is testing the chain to begin with.

Last thing.... how am I supposed to KEEP IT solo mining... if I release the source? lol that just opens up the door for pools btw. Which is the one thing I want to avoid right now.

Currently I will not move to open source as of yet. If that leaves people to choose not to mine it. That is ENTIRELY their decision.

Hi,

I think nobody would mine it without having the code open source.  Shocked

Can you provide it please? ty

I mean miners are miners. If you don't feel safe with the miner I can provide one without a minor in it. In fact, lemme go ahead and just do that too for those who have their own miners.

This is an experimental chain I am working with, and have decided to release a test of the chain itself.

(The Wallet itself scanned)

(do your own research on results, linux doesn't like me lol)

Included in the 9mb package is 3 text files, instructions, and of course the wallet.

The 3 text files are an instructions note, information note, and of course a readme. I would advise to read the readme first.

(Again, be gentle lol. I'm a one man show here alright? lol)
