i have been mining for an hour with 8000 shares. but zero in my balance.

we only get paid for found blocks... difficulty is sky high at the moment, so if we don't get new miners with some serious hash power, we'll have to close the pool down... P2P is probably an option... I'll give it another 1.5hrs...
