The project is quite interesting and innovative, although I already met similar idea in other projects. Will your project be successful - time will tell. I wish you success!

Thanks kul0n. I have seen another stablecoin from a project called Baracoin, it's only based on the Euro. There's SureRemit out of Nigeria, Dwolla out of Zimbabwe, and a few other small projects. With Binance investing in Togo and Uganda, it's going to be interesting seeing what new projects come about.

You have a lot of apps and it has not tested the security level so I can not download and test it. Can you tell me specific things in life that I can solve with your app

Yes there are a lot of apps. The purpose is to provide a one stop shop solution for an entire demographic of people. For example, if you're 18-25 per say, you might utilize Tatu Entertainment (Movies, Music, Shows...There's a VR too), Buzz (News), Queen ( womens empowerment, if the user is a female), Edu ( all of your school task, assignments, events), Date, Shop (eCommerce),  and Fashion. The reason why I didn't bundle them into just a simple app with categories like OLX, is so each experience is consistent. There's also the AI, which is going to provide a tailor-made experience for the user.

Unfortunately, funds are needed to begin development so a beta can be released and tested. The current priority is AI & Token Development. I'm a pretty open person so any details you want to discuss, PM me.

WEBSITE, BLOG, & ROADMAP COMING SOON.
Will Update with full graphic soon.

What is Tatu?

Tatu is an AI based multi service platform with an all in one app solution of on-demand and cloud services. Our slogan is – Everyday Life, All in One. The goal is to create a single platform that makes your daily life easier and, in some cases, modern. We noticed companies are trying to accomplish the same goal, but they are neglecting all of the deep-rooted issues that plague the continent, like economic and social injustices. The Tatu platform is built to provide to provide a solution, a 360 approach to social and economic development.

Tatu AI
AI Promo

Tatu’s AI is a deep learning multi layer neural network – ANI – trained with supervised learning. We want users to build a personal relationship and sort of a friendship with the AI; you know it and it knows you. The more a user interacts with the AI and Applications, the AI analyzes and curates a unique experience for each user. For example, you want to order a Tatu Ride (Our Taxi App); User activates Tatu via voice assistant – “Tatu order me a ride.”. The statement appears to be general, but Tatu knows that every other day between 2:19pm and 2:32pm the user goes to a specific gym. The driver closest to the user will get that request and proceed to pick up the user. Getting a bit deeper, if Tatu knows that the user typical takes an extra 5 mins to get ready (request time vs. ride start time) it will request the driver at a specific time (analyze traffic, fastest route, typical driving speed of driver, etc) to eliminate user wait time and driver wait time.

Africa is a very culturally rich, it has to be localized in order to appeal to the masses. Leveraging supervised learning, the AI needs to able to interact with users in the most used language of that users country. It requires teaching the AI grammar, oral movements (the clicking language of South Africa for example), and Logic/Reasoning.

The Apps
Tatu Intro

Full Set 3

There are a total of 14 applications that users can choose from. Each one of the apps fit into each business model ( b2c,b2b, c2c, p2p), this helps to round out an economy.  All of the apps and services are built as “Blockchain Native” on the EOS blockchain, they are “Lite” and PWS/PSA (progressive web services/progressive web apps) to be data and device conscious , and utilize both public and private blockchains to ensure maximum security over user data/info.

We want to create no shortage of earning opportunity; our future workers have the ability to make extra income and earn rewards with a milestone-based system. If one becomes a driver with Tatu Ride, not only can you transport riders but you can deliver packages, food, write articles, drive realtor and clients around, etc. In essence, all of the apps can be interconnected to create a unique environment.
Additionally user are rewarded based on their usage of the apps; you can earn discounts, free tokens, items, and swag.

Why so many apps?

We want to create a smooth environment and experience. Having a tailored approach to each application nets a higher KPI for each application and provides the end user a smooth consistent experience across the platform.

The Token
Promo

Token Name: Africa Token
Abbreviation Ticker: AFTX
Token Type: SCP (Stellar Consensus Protocol)
Total Token Amount: TBD (finite or infinite)

Africa Token or AFTX is the native form of payment in the Tatu Ecosystem. The Token is designed for mass adaptation, to replace fiat. The only token of it’s kind, Africa Token is 100% controlled and monitored by the Tatu’s AI. Africa Token is a hybrid stablecoin that addresses a wide variety of Africa’s issues; Poverty, Fraud & Theft, Stability, and Remittance.

Its pegged to three things:

- A collateralized percentage of a fiat to ensure low volatility
- The percentile increase/decrease in Consumer Price Indices (CPI) of multiple components of all 54 countries, so the token moves with the cost of living.
- Clean Energy Tariffs – the more a country or countries embrace clean energy the, the better the token will grow long term.

The token will be built on the Stellar platform. It’s lite, fast, and cheap. It’s perfect for an environment like Africa, where most remittance is fast so Stellars 3-5 second transaction speed fits the environment. Also significantly reduces on remittances fees and carrier down time.
Token holders will also be able to convert tokens into specific types of decentralized bonds.

What also makes the token unique is, it’s overseen by Tatu’s AI. This ensures 100% transparency and trust between the community and tatu’s team. Africa has one of the worst track records when it comes to fraud and market manipulation; Tatu is taught how to recognize and prevent market, exchange, forex and manipulation fraud.

The Token Supply

Since Africa Token was conceptualized for mass adaptation, we want users to be able to buy as they need. So if a large organization wants to use Africa Token, for example in it’s stores then the supply should be minted on demand. This is still an idea we want to develop, so token supply will be announced in the coming weeks.

What’s the AFTX Logo?

The Symbol is called a Fawohodie. Meaning independence, freedom, emancipation. It comes from the Ashanti of Ghana, from a system of symbols known as Adinkra. The saying that is connected to the symbol is: Fawodhodie ene obre na enam. Translated as "Independence comes with its responsibilities."

N3 Biometrics on the blockchain

no wallet, no phone, no problem.

One of our foundations is innovation. Currently there are only  few ways to pay for items in a consumer based environment, cash, card, phone (mobile money, nfc, and QR codes). We wanted to create an environment and product of the future and test it in a developing country like Uganda. Instead of someone using any of the methods stated, a token user could essentially checkup with a scan of a fingerprint using decentralized authentication using the BOPS protocol. This application can be utilized in a wide variety of sectors and industries. Once a user becomes a token holder, they can apply for a DID (Decentralized ID) and are provided a IDB ( 8 character alphanumerical identifier) which is attached to modalities ( retinal, prints, vocal, etc). To future protect users, the characteristics of the IDB is essential broken or shared across secure networks (Shamir’s Secret Sharing Algorithm). This solution can also provide advanced protocols for KYC,AML, and CTF. We are looking at testing this on the EOS blockchain.

In accordance with the statement, Independence comes with its responsibilities. Tatu has Non Profit Organization. We are tired of the UN’s, Political Affiliations, Dancing for Donor Dollars NGO’s – We think NGO’s should be run like startups that leverage raw common sense, innovation, tech, and open source software/tech to eliminate issues within the continent. We just don’t understand why and how there is so much bs involved to save human lives. Organizations that can raise millions and millions of dollars that essentially get rich off of struggle, death, etc. We want to bring in some of the greatest minds and try to come up with long term stable solutions and use a fraction of what larger NGO use to “put a small band aide on a large laceration”.

2018 Rough Roadmap

-Bring on AI and blockchain Advisors
-Hire Distributed Team of Devs throughout the continent
-Start AI development
-Release Hello World
-Late Q3 Rough Draft of White Paper
-Late Q3 Private ICO
-Mid Q4 Pre-Sale

Crowdfund
Breakdown

Tatu needs funds for legal and early development. For now, the target is $150k (maximum) for a “pre-seed” round. I’d like to raise the funds via the community (if people can raise money for potato salad and useless eth token, then…).

Anyone who is willing to invest or donate will be the first to get tokens at a better rate than private sale investors and possibly some merch.

We will use the funds as follows:

48% R+D
24% Team Building
10% Operational Cost
8% Legal
7% PR + Marketing
3% Web Development

I added a link to a google form to keep up with anyone who wanted to invest or donate, and for those people to keep a record of the form. It was removed as a suspicious link. The project really needs a lot of community support in anyway. Their aren't really any other major projects coming out of Africa at the moment, especially geared towards AI. If you have any questions please do let me know.
