May 10th Weekly Terracoin Update — “Volume”

In the past week a lot has happened, but most notably we have had a massive boost in volume! C-Cex put us on their delisting announcement and it caused a lot of TRC to trade hands. Hopefully some of you were lucky enough to buy the dip because we are no longer on their delisting announcement and the price is recovering!

We are listed on eight exchanges and will continue to be added to more exchanges as time passes so make sure to do some arbitrage when possible! Check out the link list way at the bottom of this weekly update for a list of exchanges.

I try to keep the link list up to date with all sites we are listed on, so if you notice a site that needs adding or removed please message me!

I am really jazzed to mention the next item!

I put in the paperwork today to register The TRC Foundation as a mutual benefit non-profit! We also have a first draft of our bylaws. They haven’t been ratified by the Board of Directors yet, so if anyone wants to put in comments on this document feel free!

The web infrastructure for Terracoin is growing fast!

TheSin has rolled out another amazing web page that gives everyone the ability to monitor the whole masternode and governance network.

This new page is called Overview (https://overview.terracoin.io/). It joins Services (https://services.terracoin.io/) and Insight (https://insight.terracoin.io/) as important links in the usability and monitoring of Terracoin.

Overview gives everyone the ability to check out the masternode network in an easy to use and helpful way. It also gives you the ability to look at current and past governance objects.

Having this data available to the public is extremely important because it helps us work together as a community and provides clear information on the network.

Now that we have three websites all with different uses I am sure you are wondering which one is right for you.

If you have a masternode and want to monitor it, have one click voting then sign up for Services.

If you want to look up an address, a transaction, or look at blocks use Insight.

If you want to check out the whole masternode network, the status of masternodes, and governance objects then check out Overview.

At this point, because of TheSin’s hard work, our web infrastructure rivals Dash’s infrastructure. Besides Dash, I don’t know of any other masternode coin that even comes close to this level of framework.

Next on the list! Did everyone check out the Zazzle store that Abettorpin set up? It has Terracoin swag that you can get so you can help spread the TRC word in real life. The Terracoin Foundation doesn’t make any money off it, and Abettorpin has seriously tried to make no money off it too, so check it out!

I specifically like this thumb drive because you can store your wallet.dat file on it and know which thumb drive your backup wallet is on.

I am running out of space here, so I wanted to also mention that the Superblock is about to happen so now is the time to get in your proposals for the next Superblock!

If you need help putting in a proposal feel free to ask on Mattermost, but the easiest way right now is through Services.
On the testnet I have used the in-wallet proposal creation and I must admit that it is awesome, and I can’t wait till we can roll that out!

Jan 25th Terracoin Update — Wow

TheSin and SixofFive have been working like mad to improve the Terracoin infrastructure. This is important to improve the user experience for Terracoin and to help add to our upcoming services.

We have a sneak peak of the three things they have been working on. Remember these are sneak peaks and still works in progress, but once you look at them you will understand why I am in awe of the work they have been doing!
