This is almost exactly litecoin... why in gods name are you doing this?
Uh, well I didn't make it (terracoin). I'm taking it as learning experience. I don't think it's going to put Litecoin out of business if that's what you're asking. So far this is just a 'mini-bitcoin'.
I'm a novice programmer, and I learned quite a bit putting this together itself from Git. What I learn here I will apply to Litecoin and Bitcoin.
that's cool. I'm just trying to understand why people keep making coins that don't introduce anything new (like ppcoin does, for example).
