Fiat money is "Government Money" and is known to be constantly losing value though inflation or fail completely. Cryptocurrencies or "The People's Money"-should provide a haven when fiats fails. Having most of our crypto stable coins based or pegged to Government money doesn't protect crypto against failure. That why having a project such as Anchor is a welcome idea- A projects that attempts to solves the problem of currency depreciation by pegging it to something that is reliable and dynamic.

After reading Anchor's whitepaper it gave me hope, that crypto environment still have smart people who bring interesting and unique ideas that can be implemented on the blockchain. So, due to price and inflation fluctuations, almost every currency loses several percents of its initial value each year, USD loses around ~2% per year due to inflation, EUR ~1.5%, Chinese Yuan ~2.5%. And here we have Anchor, they created 2 algorithmic stable tokens pegged to the predictable growth trend of the global economy, these tokens offer each user long-term price stability, preservation of purchasing power, and protection against inflation. In other words, every fiat currency and stable tokens pegged to these fiats will lose value year by year, while Anchor will give you the opportunity to avoid these losses and save the initial value of your money/saving.

After seeing the whitepaper and the project's vision and mission, I knew that Anchor will be revolutionizing how stable coins can be looked upon onwards and moving forward. If you are looking with the other stablecoins which has no backed up of anything, then differentiate The Anchor project with that. Because Anchor project can be seen as a stablecoin with a team. Not only that, it has 2 coins namely Anchor token and Dock token. The anchor token is the payment token while the Dock token is the one stabilizing the whole system to be pegged to international markets. It is really a safe haven here at Anchor project with your crypto holdings. It is powered by Ethereum which I knew for a long time already as well.

First and foremost, I would like to express all the positive thoughts I have on this project. Indeed, I am impressed by the quality the Anchor project can deliver during this period. Also, we are all aware of the criticism the crypto-sphere is facing but I have a deep respect for such a project that can offer a real solution. Anchor, I hope the Dev team finds the required fortitude to pursue its dream, will be a very exciting project. During the 2018 bear tsunami that hit the crypto clime, I decided to move all my assets into ETH. My reasoning back then was that if everything fails ETH will hold because of its high demand by up and launching ICOprenuers. And almost all the projects back then were tethered on the Ethereum network, so, it appeared primed to weather whatever storm the bears throws against it. By the way, most exchanges were charging as much as $25 for a USDT withdrawal. I didn't like that. And I was like, worst case I'd simply invest my ETH in any promising project in order to protect the value of my 'hodlings'.
Boy...... That move turned out worse than I anticipated, because, even the CrowdToken (remember them? Those idiot scammers!) I'd hoped would be my bailout asset disappeared into the thin air till date.

You see why I'm so excited at this Anchor's offering. For the first time traders and investors can now protect their portfolios from those painful crash in value and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, rake in some valuable gains while holding Anchor.

Definitely quite an interesting and innovative approach to the stable coin concept. I am really eager to witness this clash of the titans between Maker, Reserve and Anchor (maybe even Ampleforth) and see who will achieve a bigger adoption, but yes, I wouldn't be surprised at all if "the chosen one" would be Anchor as its easy to see its wide range of potential.
