The Experiment
"In the future Time-Travel may be possible, however in the not so distant future, sending messages back in time is possible..."

Time travel, an albeit far off concept can be simplified to the ability to send messages into the past to effect the future. The ‘TimeChain’ experiment proposes that in order for messages to be sent back in time there must be an ‘Index’ time in the present. At this time the receiver must be ready and willing to obtain the message from the future. Similar to Stephen Hawking’s experiment to arrange for a meeting during his birthday party with his future self, I am proposing a similar project only with messages.

Participants will write down a paper an ‘Index Point’ in time. This ‘Index Point’ is as simple as a date and time in the present moment. That paper is then saved and stored in a secure location, much like a time-capsule. In the future, your future self will open the time capsule and send a message back in time to that exact moment. The future you will know what needs to be done, this is why the present you need not make requests and simply must index points in time to ‘sync’ with the future technology. However, keeping and storing these ‘Index Points’ proves to be difficult and cumbersome. This why I propose the use of Blockchain Technology. Transactions will be able to be signed by an ‘Index Point’ signature to mark a specific point in time. It will then be stored and is easily accessible in the future.

With the TOME Network you are able to engage in the experiment yourself and use the TOME Time Ledger on the Tron Platform to look for future time-based anomalies.
