This looks like an attempt at a shitcoin that you're trying to sell with the thin excuse of replacing Dash's flaws on launch.
You straight up can't clone your competitor right down to using their marketing materials and content and expect your effort to supplant and replace their first-mover advantage to be taken seriously.
The right way to do it would be to choose a different name and branding. Create your own video and other marketing assets. THEN in all other communications, take on Dash head-on. Anything else is just an effort to make money from a shitcoin.
Those are all good points. Most of the Old Dash material is the same for Dash Classic, besides the Instamine and Foundation stuff.
The point of Dash Classic isn't to scam people and make money. We'd just do another instamine if that was the goal, LOL!
We want to see what Old Dash's technology and community can accomplish when not held back by the instamine/foundation and the burden of a scam reputation.
At least these things that need to be done before launch if this is actually going to happen:1. Figure out how to actually build the code, have binaries ready for launch (highly desirable, though not necessarily essential). This includes making a new fork (new network bits, port assignments, genesis block, etc.), all essential.
2. Define the emissions curve. Find the various code for the historical hard forks (cutting supply changing reward formula, etc.) in Dash and remove/replace that code. Obviously replicating the instamine is not the goal here, so this seems essential. I can't see doing a launch without getting this stuff figured out first.
3. Find/replace/remove the spork key.
It won't be easy to fix Dash's flaws. We obviously have a LOT of work to do.
