Someone has unfortunately reported PeerHash as unsafe software so browsers are trying to block access to the site.

PeerHash is a GUI that downloads XMRIG for your CPU mining and gets you mining in minutes. You should never mine on a non dedicated PC. Peace and happy mining.

PeerHash 0166 Released

Choose your own mining pool in the Config screen. When you win the hash lottery, other PeerHash nodes mine with your XMR address on your favorite pool.

We've been using MineXMR pool for some time now and it has been reliable with quick withdrawals and very low fees for small withdrawal amounts.

If you need a distraction, now might be the best time to try proof of work mining on a non-work Windows PC

We've been using PeerHash with MineXMR pool for a while now and happy with recognized mining shares.  Withdrawal minimums are very low which is great for home crypto miners.  If you haven't tried to run a PeerHash node try now by downloading the latest Windows executable here:

https://peerhash.com/gui/peerhash-v0-0164-beta-release/

Installation is very easy:

- Extract to a directory
- Download the XMRIG miner - PeerHash handles that for you with a single click
- Leave PeerHash running

Happy mining Monero (XMR)

Pool is back ... PeerHash working again

Looks like Dwarfpool's Monero mining pool has disappeared without explanation so until I can find a Pool with low payouts and allows mining in small 10 minute intervals PeerHash will not be generating any hashes.  If anyone can recommend a low fee low payout XMR pool please hit me up.

Thank you for bringing the community a nice project

Cheers, it's certainly getting harder to mine with CPUs and I would need to add GPU mining to PeerHash at some point. Just finding the time is a bigger challenge Smiley

PeerHash has been upgraded to ver 0.016 to support the Monero (XMR) fork 18/Oct/2018

Uses the latest CPU XMRig miner

This is a mandatory upgrade to have hashes accepted by the pool.

Hi All,

If anyone would like to try PeerHash this weekend we'll add some more instances of PeerHash to some higher end CPU instances to increase your hash rate.  You need to run the latest version 0.015 which supports the April Monero fork. Any questions please feel free to post here.

Cheers

PeerHash - Windows GUI for XMR (Monero Mining)

What is PeerHash ?
PeerHash is a GUI that simplifies the download and configuration of XMR mining

What Shouldn't I Mine By Myself ?
Using PeerHash gives you the advantage of additional hashes by other PeerHash users.  Approximately every 15 minutes an XMR address is randomly selected and all PeerHash GUIs will mine for that address for approximately 7 minutes.

What Miner does PeerHash use ?
Current version (v0.015) uses XMRIG CPU miner. XMRIG is downloaded directly from the GitHub repository.

Is it Compatible with the April 6 Monero Fork ?
Yes it is

Does it Use a Pool ?
Currently using Dwarf XMR Pool

Can You Still Earn XMR Coin Using a CPU ?
Yes you can and PeerHash accelerates that by leveraging other PeerHash user's mining power. Earnings have increased after fork.

Will My Virus Scanner Squeal When I Download PeerHash and the Miner ?
Very likely. Don't run PeerHash on a machine containing important documents, images etc.  Isolate your your mining from your essential computers whether they are personal or work computers.  We run PeerHash on a gaming rig - easily rebuilt and no loss whether it's a software or hardware issue. You will likely need to run PeerHash with antivirus off.

Do You Have a Unix/Linux Version ?
Sorry Windows app only

Can You Run PeerHash on a Virtual Machine ?
Yes, instructions here: http://peerhash.com/mining/running-peerhash-in-a-virtual-machine

Does it Run Under Wine ?
Unsure, should run as long as it emulates Win 10 64bit - feedback welcome

How Do you Install PeerHash (brief version) ?
1. Download the zip, extract to your directory of choice
2. Run PeerHash.exe and click on 'Config', enter you XMR address, close window.
3. Download the miner.  If successful you should see Beat change to 2 minutes initially
4. Either click on start mining and/or just leave PeerHash

Check the install file in the zip for troubleshooting information

How Will I Know if Other People are Mining for Me ?
The main GUI will tell you if you are the hash winner or click on 'Logs' to see how many times you have won.

How Much of My CPU Will be Used if I Just Leave PeerHash Running ?
Approximately 50% when mining.

How Do I Check My Stats ?
After you Have Mined with Your Address, You Can Check Dwarf about 15 minutes later for your current earnings

Other Questions ?
Please post in this thread.
