Seems like, judging by this thread, that this isn't so much a project as much as it is a moneygrab token that the "dev" farted out.

Hey guys,
I have some ZCASHC.  Is this project dead?  If not where is the best place for information pertaining to this project?  Thanks

What will happen to the zcashc token ? It is worthless over time  Huh

It is worthless unless/until there is a perceived value driving people to buy it. I recall the "dev" saying there were only 1 million tokens made. I'll leave a buy order for 1mill sitting out there so price won't go below that.

Two days ago I received a link in telegram chat for a token airdrop for 10,000 ZCASHC. I needed to send .01 ETH to the following address: https://etherscan.io/address/0x281a024ebc2b2e83d636548ce3a341285cbc21f5

A telegram group was created by persons unknown in which roughly 500 people joined and likewise contributed .01 ETH each to the "project".

Tokens WERE distributed as described.

Tokens became available on etherdelta yesterday, and some people bought at first but then the price crashed and has been stuck below the buy-in price since that time. This is not the issue, values go up and down this is expected.

What wasn't expected was that as soon as the price began to drop, all communications from dev/zcash classic "team" vanished, along with the group, along with the twitter account, etc.

So I bought some dirt cheap, with no idea of what I'd like to do with them other than to (hopefully) show the people who appear to have made off with everyone's money that there is a better way.

Will anyone support this project? I am almost the only buy orders right now. (ANd PLEASE don't sell me ANY MORE, I HAVE PLENTY lol)

The "dev" had initially promised a bitcointalk thread. Here it is, though not from the "dev".

If there be anyone out there from the original team willing/able to refute anything I've said please have at it, until then consider your records scarred... not really my problem but do know all will account... perhaps sooner than some of you would like.

For those still hodling ZCASHC I'd continue to do so, anyone buying at this point has a good heart and with some work this could turn into something good.
This is wrong of the so called dev for the Zchash classic, their should be away of getting these criminals to face the law . It's getting too often.

I agree. Thank you for speaking your mind.

Hey how about this; a token to support a blockchain which records/stores/supports fraud/scam reports; ie a public record of every known scam/ address associated with scam/criminal activity that people add to (report in) in order to earn some of the token. The token can be spent by offering bounty to solve online crime and get these criminals tf out.
