Hello Xelis team,

We have noticed that our Github and Gitlab repositories have been removed due to a DMCA notice. We would like to clarify our position and seek clarification on your expectations regarding our project.

Our intention in forking your projects was not to cause any trouble or to steal your work. On the contrary, our goal was to pay tribute to your technology and promote it.

We are new to this field and have made many beginner mistakes. We would have asked for permission before forking, but we genuinely thought there wouldn't be an issue since it was available on Github.

Despite having already lost about $7.5K, we would like to continue developing this project, but only if it does not bother you.

We do not wish to create any unnecessary conflict and want to respect your wishes. If you prefer that we stop our project, we are ready to immediately shut down the servers and close our website as well as our Discord server, Zytex.

I don't have smerit, this deserves at least a merit. Thanks for bringing this to the public. Many people won't know and mistakenly registered and all the information of the user will be stolen. And that's why I'm this industry we have to be careful because many developers are here to steal from others in the name airdrop, memecoin. When I read your previous comment I was like wow 😲, they just copied the GitHub from the previous project which was failed to the present one. That is wrong.

The truth is that you are clown! The famous trojan-psw which was a false positive confirmed by ikarus no longer appears on VirusTotal

Totally agree they claim "no premine" but they have devfee 15% => 5% just for make a fork and don't bring anything new.
I understand fee on Xelis as developer make some work to build chain but make same fee for making a fork is not good thing.

I didn't see any reasonable information about this project. This thread was created on the June 03, 2024, 08:06:18 PM and today is 5th of June 2024 and and you told someone that the following day the website would be launched and till now we have not seen the website to know if the project is legit though it claim to be a layer1 Blockchain decentralized project. And as you said in the Op "Launched" and I find everywhere to see the place that is launched. Is it in the internet or on exchanges but I didn't see any.

We are still waiting for the project to show face.

You fellas are getting stale as hell in 2024, at least come up with a narrative outside of mine and dump the same day any liquidity becomes available.

Just because Xelis did it that way doesn't mean we all have to do the same. As I've already told you, I think our definition of a fair launch is acceptable.

Yeah i was at the launch of Xelis, no premined coins, everyone knew the date weeks before the launch, and most important things the dev team gave all the tools to start mining even for the average Joe, wich obviously it's not the case in your fork...No precompiled binaries for windows, No Desktop wallet like the nice Genesix, and a launch with a empty server...Apparently your definition is quite questionnable i call it a lie and a pure money grab...

Just to be clear Xelis had no premine, everyone where able to mine the launch was public, and the team gave all the tool needed even précompiled binaries for all systems (yeah even Windows) and a sick desktop wallet for users that can't handle cli wallet...
