The project is completely abandoned, no exchange accepts it, no update for 1 year. So what does the developer do?

Neblio is a new blockchain, why do you want to design an application on such a new chain.
It seems like a good project and I will do some research for it.

Yes @disbil, that amply demonstrates the effort and involvement of all team members in Trifid.

This is good news for us, the team sound like working so hard that this coins get listed in an exchange in a short period of times.
Since another coins got listed in an exchange after long period of times.

For some small problems of last hour (showing correct balances) the trading that postponed until the next May 8th.

As long as you have your Neblio coins in wallet at time of snapshot occured for Trifid tokens, And after never moved your Neblio coins out from that wallet till you sweep out Trifid Tokens to Orion wallet you are good.

Previously How many times you send in and out your Neblio coins in the Windows QT Wallet does not matter. But i personally suggest keep in QT Wallet and stake it. You will earn nice 10% returns and this coin can be staked thru your ordinary laptop but need to run it all the time (If you have spare laptop).

If you were using Neblio Qt wallet for windows it won't show in that wallet but they are air dropped in that wallet. You need to sweep Trif Tokens to Orion web wallet or you simply wait for updated QT wallet from Neblio team until it supports NTP1 Tokens.

Before you sweep the Trif tokens out from QT Wallet make sure you don't send any Neblio coins out from that wallet, If you do your Trif tokens will automatically burn.

So go to Orion web wallet right hand top corner click on wheel sign, Go to "Advanced" then go to "Sweep tokens from private key" and enter Private key for QT Wallet address where you have your Neblio coins. Click on "Scan for Tokens".

If you don't know the private key follow below directions to get your private key

To export a private key from qt wallet:

click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right) in your Windows QT Wallet

click on 'debug window'

select the 'console' tab

type: walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here" 600

type: dumpprivkey [your address here]

this will return the private key, you can copy it now; ensure you clear your clipboard/history afterwards

type: walletlock

When you do Sweep function system charges very nominal fees of .0001 NEBL but some one says at above link it might act like you sending neblio out of wallet and have a threat of Trif tokens burn so for that they say in your QT Wallet make sure you have coin control option.

Anyways i done the above and able to see my Trif tokens in it.

Click on Manage NTP1 token link on very top and it will show Trif tokens in there

i never received my trifidtokens. I already sent the team an email but didnt get an answer yet. That was like 2 weeks ago. What can i do to receive them? i used the neblio wallet from their website. I could even find them in the airdrop tracker sheet. Could you help me out? Thanks in advance.

Sure you have found them by now but just in case, just click the white manage NTP1 tokens and you will find them listed there, it isn't the most intuitive but they are there.

You will only get your tokens if you keep your Neblio in Daemon, QT, or Orion @Silenox. From Android or exchanges it is not possible to receive them.

@CCChris you can also expect the new QT wallets to be to see your Trif. You can hold them without problems in your Neblio QT.

I only heard of this airdrop today, my Neblio is in the mobile wallet (android), will I be able to access the tokens?

I am also trying to understand the private key thing.  So, you want us to leave our neblio in the QT wallet while entering the private keys to that wallet on a website on the internet?  This makes absolutely no sense and does not sound safe at all.  I recently participated in the Litecoin hardfork and did almost the exact same thing but you at least moved your LTC out of the wallet, then handed over the private keys.  After that, they told you that wallet was no longer safe to use and was a good idea to delete it and install a new one.  This doesn't sound legit and sounds dangerous.  I have over 300 nebl and want to participate in this airdrop but this is sketchy...

If and ONLY if you keep your NEBL on desktop wallet, you will need to use your private key (from desktop wallet) and sweep Trifid tokens with your private key IN Orion wallet after the snapshot.

Keep yor NEBL in Orion wallet and wont have to do anything.

Yes -- that is THE Orion web wallet as developed by the Neblio team.

You'll get the airdrop into any NEBL wallet, however Orion is the only wallet that can handle NTP1 tokens at the moment -- and that is why you have to sweep them in in order to use them. You're also welcome to keep the NTP1 tokens tied to your other desktop wallet, however you will not be able to see them until a NTP1-enabled desktop wallet is released.

If you hold NEBL on Orion, then there is no need to use private keys. If you hold NEBL on QT of Electrum, then sweeping NTP1 tokens into Orion via private keys is how to redeem your tokens in Orion. This is the design built into Orion and has nothing to do with Trifid itself -- it's how you would sweep in any NTP1 token. NTP1 is fairly new, therefore no other wallets currently support NTP1 tokens -- we expect more wallets to handle NTP1 tokens in the future.

To be honest I didn't find anything exiting, like most left comments here, when the team (unknown team) doesn't want to spend money on SSL certificate and when in the open source you can find so much stuff -this says a lot. Now airdrops are so popular - free means no obligations ... very sad  

Dev why the need for private key dumps? In crypto world it should never be necessary to dump private keys except for backup. Explain this a bit more as it seems risky.

Also that part looks strange to me - I will NEVER put my Private Keys anywhere so should you.
As seen in many different Coins, Airdrops do not need privat keys....

I think that the easiest way is just to create an Orion wallet an transfer you Neblio there. That's what i did anyway.

Excited for this! From what I have read you can either use QT wallet or ORION wallet. If you use your desktop wallet you can enter your key to ORION wallet and sweep for any tokens and move them there. If you're not comfortable with that the NEBLIO team is working on a wallet update to house NEBL and the TRIF tokens. Only 6 days left

Ps: You don't have to do anything to receive airdrop just make sure your tokens are in either wallet and you will receive automatically.

Is it safe to import my private key into the Orion wallet?

• The Neblio and Trifid teams firmly believes that the answer to this is YES. If you are skeptical, we suggest moving your NEBL to a temporary wallet during the fork, then moving the NEBL out to your permanent wallet (might want to leave .5 NEBL for txn fees, though!), then importing your 'temporary' private key to Orion -- or just switching to a new staking wallet after receiving TRIF and then import your old private key into Orion.

Why is Trifid better than Neblio?

• It's not. Neblio secures the network, and Trifid is a more transferrable currency on the Neblio blockchain. They serve two different purposes but reside within the same ecosystem.

Can I stake or mine Trifid, and what is the inflation rate?

• No. After the airdrop, no more Trifid will ever be created, and based on how NTP1 works, NEBL is used to transaction fees so there is no collection of fees to issue as staking rewards or anything along those lines.
