You just failed so hard. What were you trying to accomplish?
After a few weeks of beta testing and feedback from the Vertcoin community I am happy to announce [Suspicious link removed], the first profit-switching scrypt mining multipool which pays out in VTC. The pool automatically selects the most profitable scrypt coin and mines it trading the profits for Vertcoin. Payouts occur every 15 minutes once your balance has reached 1 VTC, complete with Vardiff and some basic miner statistics (I will be adding more soon).
How to mine
- Simply point your miner to stratum+tcp://greenpool.org.uk:3333 with your VTC payout address as your username and any password. Remember this pool mines scrypt and not N-scrypt coins!
- Eg: ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://greenpool.org.uk:3333 -u YOUR_VTC_ADDRESS -p x --scrypt
Some important points
- No registration required, all you have to do is use your Vertcoin address as your username, just like P2Pool
- Stratum + Vardiff
- 2% pool fee
- No coin switch downtime
- Proportional payouts
- Automatic payouts when your balance reaches 1 VTC
